About Harper Jameson
An award winning author of paranormal romance, Harper L. Jameson was born in Central Ohio and raised in Central Florida. She began her adventures in writing through a love of online role-play. What started as a hobby turned into a passion and with the encouragement of her family and friends, she began to listen to the voices in her head, creating characters and worlds of her own.
Harper currently resides in South Carolina, where her time is divided between wrangling her children and refereeing her voices. Her world is a little dark, a lot sexy and always expanding.

Blog postI’ve been thinking very seriously about quitting writing. There, I said it out loud. No self motivation was working and I’d retired myself without ever actually saying the words. I haven’t published anything since October of 2017 and that weighs on me, but not as much as the things I see in the publishing world…

Blog postI think I know just how Jimmy Buffet felt when he wrote that song. I came onto the indie publishing world long after it had already reached its peak, when the pioneers were now the role models for success and the market was flooded daily with new authors seeking to make their mark. I’ve only…

Blog postIt’s been a long time, Dear Reader, and I see you shiver in antici… …pation. So do I. Or maybe it’s trepidation. Or frustration. Some kind of -ation, certainly. Time always passes, the seasons running through their cycle, and the speed at which it marches by is staggering, the relentlessness of which I didn’t realize…

Blog postI believe in signs and omens…in great messages from beyond that point you the way you were meant to go. Maybe it’s my superstitious roots. Maybe it’s my need to believe in destiny. Who knows? The point is, I believe. I thought that attending Apollycon this past March would be the sign I needed to…

Blog postBeware the Ides of March… It didn’t escape my attention that the month of March might be hexed. Mercury went into retrograde on the day we set the clocks forward and lost an hour of our lives to the void. And a mere week later, the Ides of March are upon us. Et tu, Harper?…

Blog postAs a writer, have you ever read something so amazingly well written that you question all your career choices? A book or a series that’s so well crafted, so intricate… so entirely beyond that you look at your own work and try to reason why your own drivel would even warrant a place on the…

Blog post…without you, my friend. And I’m finally able to sit down and tell you all about it. I actually haven’t told you anything since August and actually, the final act of 2018 was such a whirlwind that I can’t even remember what happened to throw me so off the rails. Suffice to say Fall and…

Blog postYeah, yeah. Heroes are great and all. But today, we’re talking about villains. They say that villains often see themselves as the heroes of the stories, which is part of what makes them so fascinating. Today, my fellow paranormal romance authors and I are discussing our absolute favorite villains and what makes us love to hate…

Blog postIt’s August, right in the dead heat of the summer and this is the season I live for. The dog days of summer are my idea of heaven and it doesn’t hurt that this is also my birthday month. I don’t relish getting older, but who is going to pass up a chance at celebrating…

Blog postI’m back from my Western Caribbean cruise and I feel refreshed, rejuvenated and inspired. It’s amazing how creatively stifling technology -and, in particular, social media- can be. I thought I knew how weighed down I’d gotten, but apparently that was just the beginning…the tip of the oppressive iceberg. I’d hit the thing head on and…

Dracula, Quasimodo, Dr. Jekyll…they are the monsters that stalk your nightmares. Haunting the pages of books for centuries, they are the embodiment of all that emerges from the shadows when you close your eyes. They are the deformed, the hated and the incomprehensible, fated to walk in the darkness alone forever.
Or are they?
From twelve amazing authors, come twelve new tales, stories that go beyond the blighted surface to see into the heart of the beast. They are stories of acceptance and redemption, love and passion… and chance encounters that forge the love of a lifetime.
Stop running. Stop hiding. See past the monster. Look into the face of fear and you might just find the soul of a man.

*Winner of the RWA, FF&P Chapter Best Paranormal Erotica of 2017*
From an award-winning author comes a story that birthed a legend... and a love that will set all of destiny into motion.
Before the white man settled the Appalachians, he stood over the people of the Tribe.
the people that first hunted the corner of Appalachia known to later generations as Wright’s Holler, he was Weshemoneto, the Great Spirit.
To Anna Madeline Wright, he would simply be Wes.
“Annie” Wright came from people that had learned to live on the land, people who believed in the magic saturating the woods around them. In a town not yet influenced by the progress of the industrial revolution, Annie was a pauwau. A witch.
With her people in danger of annihilation, Annie called on the spirits for the power to save them. Her desperation called Weshemoneto himself. When they collided, she had to make a choice: Lose her town or lose her heart.

Sheriff Jessica Attwood is determined to find out what is happening to her town. McAllen has a morgue full of bodies and a file of missing persons dating back decades. Her investigation leads her to the half-breed mountain man, Misignwa, and her reality is thrown into chaos.
The Misignwa’s job is to protect the forests of his ancestors. The problems of the white men aren’t his concern…until they come into his woods and duty brings him face to face with the local sheriff, a woman he’s watched from the shadows for years.
