I love fashion books and looked forward to this one coming out, pre-ordering it on Amazon. When it arrived I was surprised that it was tiny, and just...not glorious. This has all the basic, well-worn advice and some fun photos, but not too many. This was just not exciting in any way. Please do better next time, Bazaar!

I bought this book hoping it would make a nice addition to my collection of hard cover fashion books, however, this is a very small book with nothing of real value...waste of time and money.

Is a good guide for style, not the best but for beginners is good one, it helps you a lot to understand the basic elements you should have. If you are looking for more deeply content maybe is not the best book

This book gave me the inspiration to try new things such as a haircut that might be the next style when I go to the salon. Though I can't say the red outfit with the cuffed pants was red-carpet worthy. It needed to be taken to a tailor. Overall: I look forward to re-reading this short book because the photos give inspiring ideas and also it has good info for body types. This book manages to upstage the magazine version of Harper's Bazaar and is as good as anything you'd find in Vogue.

This is not so much a fashion book as much as a fashion history by decade. It gives you a really good pictorial of various fashion highlights through history and is a great reference book that shows you pictures of styles that were popular during each period. It does a good job of what it represents, but is no way intended to be inclusive of all fashion. It is a good reference book.

This is a pretty cool handbook. It is short and you will probably read through it in one day but it is very informative and well written. I liked it. It has cool pictures, good advice and ideas. It is not revolutionary, all these style books have more or less the same content but it has really good stuff in it. It's very tiny. I think it is a cool item to add to your home library.
