THE ONLY REASON I am giving this product five stars is because it told me of my fate.

What do I mean? I mean that I was not sent the right banner. The picture says "Hogwarts" but my banner was "Hufflepuff." I took great offense, because I always thought myself a Gryffindor, perhaps a Ravenclaw. However, I went to Pottermore, and behold, I am a Hufflepuff. So...you win this time.

But seriously, the picture is deceiving. I was fortunate to have a happy accident.

This was purchased as part of the backdrop to my son's Harry Potter party. We could not figure out how to hang the rope/plastic tube...instructions would have been nice...and I do think we may have been missing a part. Ended up using fishing wire, which was probably better anyway. It's made of felt, which certainly felt cheap and had a very stubborn crease down the center. Thankfully it looked ok once hung. As it was purchased as a one time only use for the party, I supposed I can't complain too much as it was overall inexpensive. However, I would not recommend for everyday decor.

It's much more thin than depicted-very see through and rather flimsy. The bottom was cut quite unevenly, and the colored section had started to come off. It also came wrinkled. It was not worth the price, but am giving it 3 stars because it did sort of do the job for the event.

I'm not going to give this a low rating because we're all adults and we should know by now that we get what we paid for! It's a really cool wall piece for my son's Harry Potter-themed bathroom, which means it does what I wanted it to. Considering what I paid for it, I'm pretty happy with it; of course, the paint job is amateur, but being an amateur myself, I probably would have done worse. People complaining about it are being unreasonable. It's like going to Dollar Tree, paying $1 for eyeshadow, and complaining when it gives you a rash on your eyelid...

No rod included to hang flag and poor quality in general

The flag itself was not cleaned up well during manufacturing. Several strands hanging out here and there. The image on the front is of pretty poor quality and looks bad up close. I can forgive all of that as the item having an "aged" look. However, like others, I received no rod to hang the flag up with in mine. Instead, I was given an extra cord.

Considering this particular banner cost twice as much as all the other HP house banners, you'd think they'd manage to get the design on the material so that you could see the whole thing! Wasn't expecting great quality, as my daughter already has the Hogwarts banner so I knew the material to expect, but this is ridiculous! The crest is printed so high on the banner that when they stitched the pocket for the pole, it covers the top of the crest. Definitely not worth the $20 I paid for it!

Wrong product received and bad quality

First of all I am very impresses with the delivery speed I got an email yesterday saying it had been dispatched and it arrived today.
However, what I received was not a Hogwarts banner but a Gryffindor. As well as being sent the wrong product, the top of the design is missing from being folded under to fit the pole in, the rope that hangs the banner up is just a shoelace that wasn't even attached and there seemed to be no way to attach it except from just tying it on. The Gryffindor logo is also very tacky and placed in the wrong position on the banner.
I will be returning this product and definitely not ordering another.
I would have given this product one star but the delivery only slightly made up for it.

This item is alright- it's printed on thin fleece-like material, and is definitely a toy as the printing is quite crude (not enough detail). If you want something more convincing as a replica I think you need to pay quite a bit more! After a few days gave mine to a charity shop, am sure it will make someone's day to find a Potter-related bargain as it'd be quite fun in a little Potter-head's bedroom or den...
