From Publishers Weekly
Grade 4-8-This is an excellent and engaging translation of what has so quickly become a modern classic. Using accessible language in keeping with the original text, the translators have chosen to keep the quirky character's names in the original English. But they did make a brave attempt to translate the names of some important elements of the story, such as the Leaky Cauldron Tavern (Caldero Chorreante) and the much admired, super broomstick Firebolt (Saeta de Fuego). Rowling's engrossing story shines through effortlessly. Highly recommended. Emec? has also published the first two titles in the Potter series, Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal (Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone) and Harry Potter y la c mara secreta (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets).
