Has Forget-Me-Not Valley lost it's Magic? You're a late-blooming farmer, but the Harvest King doesn't have patience for girls who play all day. That's why he weeded out the Harvest Goddess and the Harvest Sprites, leaving you out standing in your fields. Break his spell by sowing seeds and finding the Harvest Sprites. You'll need to master planting fields and tending livestock. Perhaps a handsome bachelor will help you before a mysterious thief steals your heart!

Game wise: I really liked it. A great classical GBA formatted game, and since my DS is slowly deteriorating due to age, it's also really helpful that there is an in game button use. There is a plot where you have to find 101 sprites, and it gets really tedious because in order to marry, you have to rescue at least 60 to bring back the Harvest Goddess, but it gives you something to do. After I rescued the 60 I needed, made a decent looking farm and got married, I got bored after. It's like everyday life, it's nice to have a husband as nice as Skye and a child on the way, you get to cook. you get to farm, and all that without leaving the comfort of your bed! But after the initial 60, I quickly got bored...and didn't bother to finish the game (rescue the rest) and didn't even wait till the birth of my child! I just tossed the game aside and left it as that.
Graphics wise: I have to admit, it's not as graphically enhanced as the new games we have. It's basically 2D, and pretty much bird's eye view. The colors though, are so nice. It's so bright and it makes me happy to look at the very yellow soil and all, and the character graphics and design is really nice to look at. Nowadays, we have things like "The Lost Valley" and "A New Beginning" and those are nice too, but the graphics are so enhanced and so beautiful that sometimes it's overwhelming and too much. In DS Cute, everything is so simple. It's like the Mineral Town style of graphics and I find that my favorite graphics of all.
Differences between this game and the previous (boy) Harvest Moon DS: There is a definitely a HUGE difference...such as the removal of most of the glitches (especially the nightmare inducing "file corruption" glitch that kills me everytime in DS) but it also means that the billion gold glitch and the infinite wool glitch are removed as well. You actually have to work to buy all your stuff now (XD) which wasn't as bad as I thought. They also changed the dialogue to fit the new female characters. There are two, Pony from AWL and Claire from Mineral Town, you answer a mini questionnaire in the beginning to decide who you are, they even have a little wardrobe of their own! I did find a mini glitch, I don't know if it's only mine, but after plugging in the GBA Mineral Town in the GAME BOY slot, the grave stone will say, " ", instead of a name. It kind of bugs me.
Extras: You can plug in a copy of "(More) Friends of Mineral Town" in the GAME BOY slot to bring over mineral town boys to marry AND you won't game over like the previous game (for marrying them).
Overall: I really liked it. I loved the graphics, it brings me back from my newer games, I just got bored after the wooing your spouse and the gathering the sprites are over. I give it a 4.5 but I can't fully say a 5 either.
