Hasbro Mouse Trap Game
Snap the trap and win at Mousetrap! Run through the maze as Sneakers Mouse, Nacho Mouse or Pepper Mouse spins on the cheesy spinner. When one of your friends' mouse is in the cheesy trap area and you land on the right space, you've got a chance to catch them in the zany trap made of Hungry Hippo and Girafalaff contraptions. Keep scurrying and scampering until someone gets caught. If you're the first to trap a mouse, you win!

Run, little mice, run! Build this fun game's crazy Mouse Trap contraption, but then, beware - you definitely don't want your mouse pawn to get trapped by it. Race to the finish and don't look back!
Build a better mousetrap? We dare you. Naturally, the object is to trap mice in the mousetrap, while avoiding getting trapped. By rolling the die, you proceed around the game board, collecting cheese pieces and building a mousetrap bit by bit. Once complete, you set the wheels in motion, as it were, to try to capture the opposition's mice. But this is no ordinary trap. With this contraption you start by turning the crank, that rotates the gears, that push the lever, that moves the shoe, that kicks the bucket, that sends the ball down the stairs and into the gutter, that leads to the rod that releases a second ball, that falls through the bathtub and onto the springboard, that catapults the diver into the washtub, that causes the cage to fall and--whew!--hopefully, capture a mouse. For me, everything about this game is a fantastic thrill-ride! I have a blast setting up the contraption every time I open up this box and even more-so when we get to playing and see all the pieces working one after the other.
If you've never played this game or have ever considered it (whether as a kid, for kids or just to relive those nostalgic times), I would definitely recommend this game. And actually, when it comes down to it, this is also a pretty educational game since it teaches kids to follow instructions as well as what it takes and how it feels to construct something themselves. Although, just make sure they are supervised during play since there are plenty of tiny pieces that could become hazardous in the wrong hands >_<
I called to return it as we ordered for our grandson's birthday and it was too late to replace it and not available in our local stores. I frequently shop at Amazon as I am handicapped and don't drive. The person I spoke to was very nice about a free return, but I would have to drive it to the Post Office to send it.
That made me angry as it was delivered to my door and it was damaged at Amazon, not because I changed my mind or wanted a different color. After explaining more assertively how it was wrong for them to cause me difficulty, she put me on hold a few minutes and came back and told me that now they understood my condition they could have it picked up at my door. The item was picked up and returned but I don't understand, IF IT WAS CLEARLY AMAZONS MISTAKE, WHY SHOULD ANYONE HAVE TO RETURN IT TO P.O.?
