    I bought this product to help me video fishing. It certainly works as a GoPro mount but I did not realize how much I move my head when fishing checking out sounds, looking for fish, operating the electric motor, etc. Watching the playback makes you dizzy. I suspect that this might be true for other sports too. I have since switched to a chest mount and that is far more effective for my purpose.

    Great product, as advertised! Frees your hands up while shooting video. I use mine when fishing, allows me to play the fish and relive the memories. Hat holds tight to your head, no slippage, and my Kodak Playsport is light enough doesn't feel akward. I am sure it looks kind of funny when your wearing it, but I'm in the middle of the lake, who cares, right.

    Received khaki hat quickly and promptly. I use a small, point & shoot, digital camera attached to the mount and get reasonable, stable movies. For all that I am very pleased. However, ALL the pictures on Amazon and ALL the pictures on the manufacturer's website conveniently FAILED to show the giant advertisement for the manufacturer's website embroidered on the back of the hat over the adjustment strap. Any attempt to type what it says will surely be suppressed by Amazon's filters, but you can look up "Hatcams" online. Even though the hat has a camera mount on it, and I would have a camera attached to it, I would prefer the hat to be somewhat more "discrete". I do not want to be providing free advertising for a company after I paid them for their product.

    This hat works well with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS25 camera. I use it when I'm fishing, and it sees what just what I look at. The size is adjustable which is good, because you have to tighten it a little to compensate for the weight of the camera. Unfortunately, the hat is not washable, so after a while I imagine it's going to be a bit grungy.
