Sophie Weston's story is a rollicking romantic thriller as her heroine, Jet Delaney, find herself in the middle of the sort of Cary Grant thriller where the protagonist has NO idea what is going on, but it's scary, and in Jet's case, she has someone to protect. There is also this guy, who is mostly very attractive apart from dissing Jet's creative career, but he's definitely in the middle of whatever is going on, and it's not at all clear if he's a good guy or a villain.
Both stories are very enjoyable, and the characters who have reason to hate Christmas and up thinking that a highly decorated holiday with friends and family might actually be a good idea!

I enjoyed both of these romances and would highly recommend them to readers looking for something different from the usual, often twee and smaltzy,- Christmas -themed romantic fiction.
Highly enjoyable at any time of the year.
A good plot, interesting characters, pace and humor put the excellent second story, I HATE CHRISTMAS, very firmly into the 'I want to read this all in one go' category.
