I found so much in this book that was helpful. What really gave me an ‘aha’ moment, was when the author said, “The less you make it about serving others, the less service you will be able to provide.” It turned my thinking around!
The strange thing was, I already knew this. I use it to prevent nerves when speaking on video all the time. I had just never applied it to selling.

In his book Ryan introduces you to three trainers with very different but very real approaches. You'll find that you identify with one or the other throughout the different real life customer interaction selling scenarios that Ryan presents. It is an excellent tool to be able to recognize what your interactions with the selling process have been and to learn how those could be greatly improved.
Ryan's approach is not about high pressure selling , but rather based about real human interaction and making a lasting connection with the client which will lead to better client retention and satisfaction
Through the book you'll learn questioning techniques that not only help you dive into your clients needs and desires but help the client feel understood. When they know that you have made the effort to "get them" they will be grateful to work with you. I love the worksheets/ exercises that Ryan gives through the book to help the reader out what he is learning into action. By the time you are done with this book you will have created your own sales system and scripting that makes your feel great bout having built lasting relationships rather than having just made a short term on off sale. Ryan helps trainers to see the true value of their skills and expertise. This is what makes closing a sale easy and comfortable rather than forced and cheesy
Thank you for you passion Ryan. I would seriously have thought reading a book like this would have been a bit boring but I found myself looking forward to the next time I had a minute dive back in!
