Hating Jesus: The American Left's War on Christianity Kindle Edition

4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 65 ratings

The new pagan gods of the late, great USA are self-worshipping men and women who, realize it or not, spend every waking hour doing evil. You know them as American leftists. They are waging a War on Christianity and, for now at least, are winning.

Just a few short decades ago a church-going man who publicly supported the right to life, backed laws protecting marriage, and spoke freely of Christ’s love for fallen man, would be universally recognized as a fine and upstanding citizen. He would be welcomed anywhere, including at the highest levels of power. But things have changed. In today’s America, the “progressive” left actively endeavors to destroy such a man.

Modern American leftists start by vilifying Christians. They then begin scheming, quite often with success, to get Christians terminated from employment and forever marked with a scarlet “C” to inhibit any future prospects for employment. Next, they simultaneously attack their family and work to tear it apart, at once sending a warning shot over the bow of other Christians and pushing them to the fringes of society.

The ultimate goal? Conform to their pagan demands, or face incarceration.

American progressives have co-opted every elite institution: schools, government, the media, Hollywood and the arts; even, at an increasing rate, many conservative organizations. What’s worse is that progressivism has, like a deadly cancer, fully metastasized into what passes for the Church in America. There is a great falling away afoot, and apostasy reigns supreme.

The secular left doesn’t merely have a disagreement with Christianity. These are not people with whom one may reason, compromise or even disagree. They are dedicated to evil. They demand nothing less than the abolition of the biblical worldview, and the destruction of Christ’s followers right along with it.

Now is the time to fight back. If you are someone, Christian or not, who refuses to see Christianity wiped out (like it ever could be) and your children indoctrinated into pure evil, then sitting on the sidelines is no longer an option.

In Hating Jesus Matt Barber first documents how successful the American left has been in its War on Christianity and then concludes by providing both hope and a simple plan on how the body of Christ can fight back against the enemies of God.

We live in dire times. But, with Christ, it’s never too late to turn the tide!

"Hating Jesus" is brilliant and well-documented. Any "critic" who calls it "hate-filled" obviously has not read the book (or is the epitome of Isaiah 5:20)! The book is educational, informative and inspiring. If enough patriotic Americans read the information and follow the advice in this book, there is a chance of restoring this once great Constitutional Republic--and Truth, Liberty & Justice in the U. S. of A.

I was surprised and astonished at the power the LGBT had amassed - if I may say so secretively - as to convince people in government to start war on Christians. I wonder where the LGBT got all the money from with which to buy Obama and his cohorts. The book makes sense, because somebody had to start this game of hatred against the Christians, and when you read the book, you'll understand that so much of it was sub rosa until it burst upon the surface fully grown. The writers have amassed their facts very carefully and have done a good work in filling in gaps in my education.

The author presented several cases of Christians being forced to violate their conscience. I find it disturbing and you may as well if you are not up to speed on what is really going on in this once free country. The author tries to finish the book on a positive note. He feels we can bring this country back from the darkness that is where I disagree. I think we are too far gone the Marxists have won and they own this country. The media the schools and most of the government belong to the left. So read the book and make your own decisions. God Bless and get ready.

This is a non-PC evaluation of the secular attack on sincere Christianity. He is well versed as a law professor in a Christian school. He also makes the obvious connection that an attack on orthodox Christianity is necessarily an attack on Christ. Well written, well thought out discussion. This is a statement of reality. Unfortunately. As Christians we know what the outcome will be but not how long or difficult the journey will be.

This is an excellent read! The left's attack on Christians throughout this nation as well as the global uprising against them is literally Bible prophecy happening right before our eyes. As apostasy grows globally, we must stay as strong in our faith as Mr. Barber. Well done, good and faithful servant!

Excellent reading. This book shows us how the hatred and persecution directed at the Christians is indirectly aimed at Christ. Well written and researched. It speaks to our time, and to this hour of time. Barber is a prolific writer and has much to say.

This book illustrates perfectly how hypocritical our society has become in relation to our heavenly Father and our savior Jesus Christ. It encourages people to wake up, recognize our downfall, and obey the guidelines set forth in the Bible to save ourselves.

Amen! The war has raged for many decades against Jesus Christ and those of us who declares ourselves Christians. The acceleration of the war with so many willing participants points to a need for us Christians to arm ourselves with the facts. This book has those historic facts. Read Scripture, arm yourself with the truth of history and take a stand. Time is short.
