This is one of those movies where the creators had a good idea for one scene and tried to build an entire 90-minute movie around that. If you've seen the trailer, then you already know the scene I'm talking about. That scene is the highlight of the movie. By far. Don't get suckered into thinking there is anything more (like me). There isn't. I mean, "the girls" are not entirely unpleasant to look at. But the story is implausible, the pacing is glacial, the acting is wooden, and the ending is laughable. Oh, and of course the only black character fails to make it to the end of the movie. This is either a well-worn Hollywood inside joke, particularly in horror movies, or an actual statement about a wished-for reality. In either case, it's long past time to put this offensive trope to rest, along with the rest of this ridiculous movie. Learn from my mistakes and don't waste your money!
Worst movie I have ever purchased on amazon, everything you see in the trailer happens within the last 15-20 minutes of the film the rest is just bs garbage build up! Waste of $20 I remember reading the little short bit about the scene when she looks under the bed and the little girl says thats not me and was looking forward to seeing it on film and more about it just how the Film Lights Out was. Very disappointed if anything this deserves to be a youtube short
I saw the trailer to this and I thought wow, this is going to be good!! But as I watched the movie the was completely no character building of the main characters, and then when all the mystery was coming into the light for these peop, the movie just stopped!?!? So sad, had a great opportunity to be a good movie, susan a shame. Loved the concept, but epic fail!!
I only gave it 1 star cause I had no choice. WORST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!! And I want to add, I only rented it, but give me back my money!!!! The best parts were in the trailer. Ugh waste of time. That's why it went straight to DVD. End rant.
