member of, mentioned this book, and series.
Always looking for another mystery series, I tried
And have enjoyed them all.
I would advise that you read them in order though, as
one story follows the next.
I just reviewed the Christmas novella, and invite you to
read it.......both the book and the review.
I will not give out any "treats" concerning this "spooky" story,
as I am sure you will want to walk side by side with Lexie, as
she "digs" up the killer.........
I wasn't that impressed by the development of the plot, either, as the process never seemed to bring things together in a logical manner; I suspected who the murderer was but it must have simply been instinct because not many of the clues pointed in their direction. (I know the surprise ending with an unlikely murderer is pretty standard but usually there is some kind of indication of what the motive might be hidden in the narrative somewhere; of course, none of the "suspects" appeared to have a motive strong enough to commit murder for, so it was bound to be a surprise no matter who the killer turned out to be.)
Having said all this, I will admit to purchasing the next 2 titles and the Christmas novella, though I haven't read them yet. If I have a more positive reaction to them,I'll let you know.
Also, she was rude, invasive and prying when she had no business. When she interrupted an entire class to question someone she suspected, I lost any respect for her.
