Sarah Overby's life is predictable and some would call mundane. That is until two ghosts who live in her attic step into her life. The ghosts do their best to stop Sarah from making a mistake. Without giving anything away. I will say this is a wonderful read. There is a lot going on in this story, so it is not one you can read in only a sitting. If you like ghost stories, then give this one a go!
I do understand the importance of her waiting for him ( even if it was done at a subconcious level). But this story line would of worked much, much better, with a younger heroine (at least for me). A "totally" innocemnt, virgin: acting speaking, and feeling like she was twenty or less, was a tremendous negative for me.
This book had a lot of interesting premises in it, ghosts, past lives, and a shady suitor but it moved a little slow at times. The story focused so much on the past lives that it was hard to stay focused on the current characters. I say give it a go if you like historical romance with a little paranormal mixed in.
