Haurex Italy is an Italian company which, since its foundation in 1989, has aimed to produce high quality wristwatches with innovative design and materials that are always in line with the latest fashion trends. In order to achieve this result, the company set up a design department stationed in Italy that searches around the world for innovations so they remain up to date on new materials used in other areas, such as fashion apparel, which is one of Italy's strengths.
The aim is to meet the growing worldwide demand for Italian design through its designer timepieces. Its interpretation on the watch strives to utilize lines, colors and materials that are on-trend, but to never push the extreme too far, so that they maintain a timeless quality. The new collections, in particular, were created with a deliberate mix of materials like aluminum and rubber, which have almost endless color variants. This union between Italian design, competitive prices and quality materials has permitted Haurex to succeed in many different markets. Today, it is distributed through 700 points of sale in Italy and in more than 40 countries worldwide.

Now, look at the underside of the "leather" strap. See the top edge near the clasp? Notice how the black color has been rubbed off... already? How about the jaggedness of the holes themselves?
Look at the closeup of the side. Notice the pitting in the metal on the left side (near the bottom of the crown - the thing you turn to adjust the time)? They didn't even bother to fix that, before they plated the thing!
If this little attention to detail exists with the superficial aspects of the watch, how well-made do you think the movement is? Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. In this price range, you'll find better quality with TAG Heuer, amongst others.
Go to [...] Instructions - Warranty.pdf and look at the PDF for the warranty. Then, find the warranty location for the US. Then, go to Google Maps and check out where it is. No other high end watch manufacturer I know uses someone's home for warranty work. The ones that aren't fly-by-night organizations have actual business locations for warranty work.
Also, take a look at this other review for another Haurex (copy and paste this into your browser address bar: [...]) It was written months ago. The watch showed up with finger prints on the INSIDE of the crystal! In a $350 watch?! Clearly, this company has very poor quality control -- likely because they products aren't even worth $[...]!
