I was drawn into the story at once and could not put it down. The plot moved quickly with vivid characters and detailed descriptions of Key West, which I recently visited. There was a lot of action, some a bit far-fetched, but I read for escape and entertainment, so I thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend this book, and I’m looking forward to reading the next one in the series.
Any fun store could help you with that issue.

He has let himself go and doesn’t know how to get himself picked up in body and spirit. His next trip leaves him and his passengers stranded, due to mechanical problems. He ends up meeting an old friend Natasha who offers to help and ends up having to get him and his passengers returned to Key West. He’s about to lose his job and gets a last minute reprieve when another old friend, Megan wants to hire him to help her search for a wreck. She thinks it is a plane wreck from a famous aviator that has been missing for years. Only problem is that there are others also interested in this wreck and they come from 90 miles south of Key West.
What should have been the start of a new salvage company with Megan and Ryan, soon brings danger and ends with both of them facing a grisly end in the sea, above a wreck that is not quite what they expected. A float plane, drones, break-ins, boozy evenings in local bars, despair and explosions rock this prequel. R.B. certainly doesn’t get any breaks in this story, but it sets up for what should be some interesting adventures and further stories, if he survives a watery grave. I look forward to reading more of this series and also catching up on the Troy Bodean thrillers. I received an ARC copy of this book from the authors and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
