From the Inside Flap
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
"Well, Dr. Leman," you're saying, "I could think of a bunch of things. How on earth could I pick just one?"
Congratulations! You're the very person I wrote this book for. You see, there's a reason you picked up this book. You'd like to see a few things--or many--change in your life. You may have tried other ways of helping this change along--asking a friend to hold you accountable, going to see a shrink, writing in a journal, counting to ten before you do the thing that gets you in trouble every time, etc. But have they worked? Nope. Or you would have "fixed yourself" and you wouldn't need this book.
But don't give up. You really can change yourself--and your life--in less than a week. Sound too good to be true? It isn't. My proven method has worked for kids and for spouses, and it will work for you.
It's the miracle turnaround you're looking for. I guarantee it. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

However, the focus of the book is knowing who you are and accepting it and making the most of it. I am becoming more and more aware of what is really part of who I am and letting go of what I am not. Also, it is about finding the natural bent of your personality and how it was shaped through life and working with it.
One thing I am still confused about is, my personality blend is sanguine-melancholy; complete opposites. So I don't know whether I am a true melancholy and because I was lastborn I take on the characteristics of the sanguine or if I am a true sanguine that took on melancholy traits because of my past childhood and life experiences. Would be a great question for the experts though.
But all in all it was very insightful.
