I love how she explains The China Study and why is isn't correct. The recipes look great and I used her recipe for the sprouted whole wheat pancakes already. Delicious! My husband loved them and he is not a big pancake person :)
This is my favorite "diet" book now even though it's a life style not a diet. And I feel such relief that I can "just eat the food". Good wholesome, real nutrient densed food!
**UPDATE** After several months of following this plan, I do have to disagree on a few issues. First, it is very difficult to often find/afford grass fed or organic items. Sometimes there is no other choice than to buy conventional. Also, she says to only drink/eat full fat dairy. We switched to this and the scale went up as well as cholesterol. We are now eating as much organic low fat dairy as we can. I also agree with another reader - where is the cake recipe?!? Some of the ingredients are just not user friendly. I keep this cookbook for some references, but I will find something that works better for my family.
It's as if your neighbor sat at your kitchen table & shared all her health knowledge, "y'all's" and all.
