of the Gullah people of Santuary Cove and Cavanaaugh Island,
this novel left me somewhat in a maze..the book is a good
read but I didn't come away with the chemistry for the two
main characters. Morgan has loved Nate since she was a child
and he was much older and never thought of her in an intimate
way. Until, he has a bad experience and returns to Cavanaugh
Island with a lot of heavy baggage from his previous relationship.
He had vowed not to marry or fall in love again until Morgan
convinces him that love is worth another try. The love scenes
didn't give me the chemistry feeling that this writer has in
the past. Although, I have try to be objective about the book,
maybe she was giving us a feel of having a real relationship.
Also the other characters in the story made you laugh at trying to get the couple together as well as the person who had visions.
