The movie starts out with a promising premise, yet turns into a running and screaming slasher that leaves you with few questions answered (and not in a good way). Prepare yourself for a movie that gives the viewer questions about the family that runs the "halfway/transition house" as to the morals they have behind why they seek people who are considered damaged goods to eventually murder if they happen to break "the rules".
It leaves the viewer to question if the family truly has good intentions to try and help these people, or if the main goal is to drive the residents to the brink, returning them to their old ways, showing that their life is unworthy to live. In the end, it leaves you unsatisfied with few questions answered, and twist ending that had no previous signs to leave the viewer feeling satisfied.
That aside, this movie was alright. There are some twists that I think could have been further developed, as they were pretty interesting and I felt the trailer was misleading.
This movie had no supernatural elements to it at all. What is really going on is hinted at fairly early on and then fully explained near the end.
