Abbie has been crafting stories since elementary school, though she has only recently decided to start sharing them with others. When she's not escaping into another world of her own creation, she's a busy wife and mother of three, including a set of identical twins. Besides being an avid reader and writer, she loves animals (especially big dogs), American muscle cars, and 80's hair bands.

I think it is worth pointing out that I am not normally into books with early on hot and heavy sex but this series made me get over that. Which is a testament to the awesomeness of the series because I love the characters on their own. The family bonds and banter are some of the many things that made me like the brothers and their women enough that I want to read more. I know the sex/love scenes are the reason many of you read these books so please understand I am not complaining just complimenting the author's ability to make me grow as a reader. I had far less trouble accepting the hot and heavy sex so early on between the couples because her writing makes me believe the soul-mate bond early. I was both annoyed and amused at how the women are so IN TUNE in So many ways but have the hardest time recognizing the Soul-mate-bond.
I was happy and proud of Kieran for being so patient with Faith because everything I read about him in previous books said this was true to his character. I gotta admit even I was disappointed in the lack of sexy scenes compared to the other books. Of all the brothers Kieran always had my heart a little more so maybe that is why. I also feel it is my duty to back my fellow readers who fully enjoy the level of hot and heavy sex evident in the other books but missed out on it here.
One scene in this book involved all the wives from the previous books. They all somehow went from smart, kind, kick ass women to stuck up snobs or just clueless. Taryn has no brain to mouth filter and I even expected her and the other wives to go mamma bear protective of Kieran. But I was still disgusted that she chose Faith being a maid and getting pregnant as a teen as things to attack her for. Poor Faith handles it pretty well but I felt horrible for her. Kieran's soul-mate deserved a hell of alot better in my opinion.
I like Faith and completely related to her issues with money. Her repetitive reluctance did get a little annoying BUT I understood it completely. I LMAO at the part about her hyperventilating when she sees the prices of some items for her wedding.
Whats sad is all that careful build up to an ending that seemed a bit rushed. But I LOVE THE Callaghan Brothers so I will always love this series.
This is the second time this author "reminds me" why Iam an engineer and not a writer!
I felt like Abbi was writing this and saying "see...this is another awesome story!"
It was so sweet, and Faith wa great! What a strong girl! I enjoyed this from page one! The kid also deserves his own story ( please?)
Very nice reading, well paced, another hit,
When the couple meet Kieran feels an instant attraction, while Faith finds Kieran appealing, she doesn't think he would ever be interested in someone like her. There were many times throughout this story that the condemnation, shame and pity shown to Faith brought a tear to my eye. Assumptions are made as to why and how a 28 year old woman managed to have a 14 year old son. Was she raped, forced or attacked? To be honest it made me stop and think of the times I have judged similar situations. To read where even the Callaghan women question and judge her made me feel bad. Faith is a strong woman who has learnt to deal with it all. Her driving force is her son's happiness...how can you judge that?
I did feel that the relationship between Kieran and Faith took too long to cement. Faith was a wee bit too stubborn and Kieran a wee bit too patient. We didn't get an intimate scene between the couple till right at the end. Knowing what these boys are capable of...very disappointing. There was one scene where a woman Kieran had previously dated shows up but Kieran is embarrassed by her approach and clearly shuts down her advances. This scene makes Faith have less confidence, which didn't help Kieran's cause.
I loved the dynamics of Faith and Matthew's relationship. He was a very mature boy who loved his Mum and didn't take advantage of or ignore the sacrifices she made for him. We get to see a few of the Callaghan brothers and their wives, but considering this was the last brother, I thought there would be more. No missions were undertaken which was not really surprising to me. None of them want to put themselves in danger, as they have very important loved ones waiting and worrying about them.
Overall, another great installment to the series and I am glad to hear that there will be more.

Faith O'Connell and her teenage son buy a pretty run-down cottage that the Callaghan's own. When they move in, and Kieran meets her, he knows. She is his croie, his fated mate. But how does he tell her? Faith is dirt poor, works in housekeeping at the resort, and just does not fit into the Callaghan world. And, she was a 14 year old unwed mother when she had her son.
This story is a well-written love story. No guns, no shooting, no action/adventure. It deals with the way two people have to feel out each other, and bypass the hurdles and misconceptions of the world around us. The story is moving, and heartfelt. Even though this is the last single Callaghan brother, the author has said that there will be novels about some of the secondary characters
