Amara
To the rest of the world, I'm broken.
Unfixable.
But when he looks at me, I know what he sees.
A woman, not a doll.
A fighter, not a victim.
A survivor.
Maybe, he sees underneath that.
Maybe, just maybe, he sees what I was always born to be—a predator.
They took my innocence from me. They stole my adolescence.
Now I'm going to reap upon them what they sowed in me.
Vengeance.
This woman hasn't just been scorned... but the hell I'll rain down upon them will look like child's play.
He's a Sinner, by nature and by vow, but will he take this journey into the depths of depravity with me?
Will his brothers?
Stick around for the ride—we'll find out if he's man enough for the job.
HAWK is the seventh book in the ten-book ‘A Dark & Dirty Sinners’ MC’ series.
It is not a standalone.

CAUTION: May contain spoilers if you have not read any of the previous stories in either series
⛔️ There are multiple warnings about subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some. If you have any sensitive topics, please read in its entirety.
Contains adult language, derogatory terms used to describe females (some males), steamy MF and MFM adult intimate scenes, and violence. Here are some of the areas / themes covered, which may be referenced or detailed within the story: dominance, submission, kidnapping, abduction, murder / assassination, torture, human trafficking, assault, drug distribution, money laundering, betrayal, rape, restraints, degradation, knife play, breath play, blood play, sadism, masochism, “bathroom” play, domestic violence, sexual abuse, mental abuse, physical abuse (some with a minor), etc.
** There are also themes of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and suicide **
This is a darker themed, reverse harem story due to the characters’ history. It wasn’t clear in the beginning, at least to me, that this was a reverse harem. The timeline overlaps with the previous story. I have included a brief background for each character below.
Serena Akeroyd does an excellent job handling the sensitive themes of this story. I wasn’t concerned after reading previous stories with similar themes, but I didn’t expect the moments of levity, or the creative ways Amara finds to take back her control or embraces her courage.
There are some grammatical issues, but nothing difficult to interpret (I did not include those that were used by Amara’s character as that is part of the storyline). These were primarily incorrect word / tense choice, missing and extra inserted words. The most distracting part is the usage of phrases and/or terms not part of the American lexicon, although not as prevalent as in previous stories. I am trying to make sure I mention these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow.
Here are the backgrounds and a brief recap on how the story begins:
Amara is one of the three females rescued from the Lancaster mens’ country shack. She was trafficked from the Ukraine and was near death when found. She has recovered physically for the most part, but not mentally. Amara does speak relatively good English, but hid it from the others for quite awhile. Another told the group about Amara being fascinated with Giulia, as she watches and studies her / others. Some believe that she is a lesbian or has romantic feelings for Giulia.
Quin is the younger brother of Nyx and Indiana. He was referenced here and there but not really included in scenes until later. He was a victim of the Sparrows when he refused to do their bidding and was sent to prison for something he didn’t do. Quin was still a juvenile at the time, but was tried as an adult and the Sparrows made sure he received a harsher sentence than he should have. Quin didn’t tell anyone about being set up until Nyx finally relented and visited him in prison to tell him about their sister. Then Nyx worked with their allies to get him a pardon. Quin was notified and was shivved by another prisoner before he could be released (his time in Rikers is more detailed in the previous story).
Hawk was introduced in the first story and has the most normal background. He has a sister named Giulia, a twin named North, and their father, Dog, was a patched member of the Sinners’ MC. Dog was abusive, so his mother moved him, North, and Giulia out West, where their Mother met someone and remarried. After her death, the three of them returned to the MC, Giulia met Nyx, North met Dog’s new wife, ran off with her and is now suspected of his death, and Hawk was a prospect that patched in the night the MC clubhouse was blown up.
This story begins after the clubhouse has been destroyed and construction has begun. Hawk works for the MC Enforcer, but floats to cover whatever job is needed. Currently that is a bouncer at their strip club. Amara is quiet and watches everyone, some more than others. She has taken up watching and waiting for Hawk to come in from the club, of which he is aware. One day she approaches him and they have a conversation on the front porch, which leads Hawk to make an offer he never expects her to take him up on. Then she surprises them both and accepts …

The way Hawk looks at Amara changes when he walks into the kitchen to find Gillian posse trying to find out if she is a traitor. He know what she has been through and he is so patient with her and he wants to show her that with someone how respect her how much pleasure she could have. I absolutely love Hawks character he just wants to protect her and be there for her. Even though Amara struggles to come to terms with what happened to her she is becoming stronger and more confident in herself.
Serena Akeroyd you have written an amazing story while reading this book I cried my heart broke for Amara but I also laugh a bit this series is a must read I really recommend you read it as you won’t be disappointed

Serena did it again.
7th book in and it's so strong. The continuation of the storyline and how Hawks story interlinks works so well.
I stumbled a few times through it, as Hawk isn't council. I wanted all the information now but we had to wait. So clever. Yet evil.
I love the dry humour that is throughout this. To see it being embraced by everyone other than the one sprouting the best one liners ever is brilliant.
The LAST CHAPTER was everthing, I cried and cheered so hard.
As we know this series challenges us with the trauma and rehabilitation of abuse, and every form in comes in. This book is no exception. It broke my heart, I cried and healed as the characters so beautifully written did.
I don't what to give anything way, I just want you to go read it.
As much as this is fiction and fantasy and probably a little pixie dust. This has helped me. I have seen my own trauma reflected and so incredibly respected by the narritive. Its made me handle and actually learn more about coping mechanisms of every kind.
I love these books for the hot, sexy, and familia vibes but also for the healing and revenge they get. Gods if we can all just punch a beatch in the nose when we were angry we'd all be happier and the plastic surgeons would be richer.
Hawk and Alessa are a beautiful duo and blossom and kick ass when they find their everything.
If you haven't ready NYX, what are you waiting for. This is a series that has everything we think we need and everything we didn't know we actually needs.
Series rating overall: 5 stars

Hawk is a MFM/menage book that I wasn't expecting in a traditionally MF series. But Amara is a woman who deserves two amazing men.
Hawk is a grumpy son of a gun who's twin brother ran off leaving him behind for the first time in his life. Whilst his sister is tied to another MC brother who is as unhinged as she is. His father was killed but he doesn't know who is responsible for how his abusive father died.
Then there is Quin. A Native American ex con who was incarcerated for a crime he didn't commit and who is trying to get his life back together. He is a talented artist and when lays his eyes on Amara is smitten.
Amara has endured the worst of the worst. She is not prepared for two men who are determined to be there for her and support her get the revenge she truly deserves from those who have taken everything from her.
Slowly gaining her trust, these two MC brothers are everything that Amara needs to stay grounded and make the guilty pay. She is possessive when she claims them and they love it.
The series deals with issues of abuse, sexual violence, human trafficking, paedophilia and physical violence. If these are triggers for you this series may not be for you. This MC whilst operating on the wrong side of the law does work to eradicate things that exist in the dark recesses of modern society.
I love this series and this book is a refreshing and warming surprise. Thoroughly recommend.

Yet I have to say the same again!!
This book covers some heinous acts made against several of the books characters! It includes rape...Including gang rape of both sexes...sex trafficking, brutality, starvation, cutting, kidnapping and child grooming to name a few.
These are quite distressing, but Serena uses her talent to bring such horrendous issues, with the greatest of sensitivity. But as always, Serena warns straight away that these issues along with others should be noted. Therefore if they are a trigger for you, then her books are not for you!!
Also lets not forget the intimate parts of the book and as with all of her books, they are steamy. Except this one has one difference and that difference is a Quin! However that's as much as I'll say, as I hate spoilers!!
So if you want to find out then get the book!! NOW!! I'm not joking!!
This book is absolutely worth every penny you'll spend and you'll be so glad you listened!!
