Futura Dosa Tava
The dosa tava is designed with just the right curvature and thickness to give you the best cooking results when making dosa (rice and gram pancakes). The flange, which firmly attaches the handle with strong stainless steel rivets, is uniquely designed to not interfere with the cooking surface and to hence maximise the cooking area, allowing you to make a very large dosa, or several uttapam or cutlets at one time. The 4.88 mm extra thick heavy gauge metal ensures fast and even heat conduction and retains heat well. The dosa tava is suitable for domestic gas and radiant electric cooktops.

Amazing for Dosas

This product is great for Dosas. We have been looking for a Dosa pan for a long time and after trying a few, this one really helped us. It makes paper thin dosas or thick ones as per what you like. It radiates heat evenly throughout the pan which helps the dosa cook nicely. Its not heavy to handle and very easy to clean. Very happy with it.

Its condition is good for the first 2 to 3 months, but after that it starts sticking dosa. The coating layer occur small breaks. This product I got is still in warranty period.I followed DO'S and DON'TS mentioned in the manual book that came with the futura hawkins tawa. Overall the quality of the product is worst. If this continues iam recommending not to buy this product spending huge amount. The company has to replace the product.

Tips : Firstly heat the tawa on low flame only , after u putting the dosa batter u can high the flame , after removing the dosa u have to low the flame , continue this for every dosa its not that much critical 👌
It longs the durability of the tawa .
