Hawkins/Futura Q41 Nonstick Flat Dosa Tava/Griddle
The Dosa Tava is designed with just the right curvature and thickness to give you the best cooking results when making dosa (rice and gram pancakes). The flange, which firmly attaches the handle with strong stainless steel rivets, is uniquely designed to not interfere with the cooking surface and to hence maximise the cooking area, allowing you to make a very large dosa, or several uttapam or cutlets at one time. The 4.88 mm extra thick heavy gauge metal ensures fast and even heat conduction and retains heat well. The Dosa Tava Instruction Manual has 11 tested recipes for the Dosa Tava, including four varieties of dosa, uttapam, cutlets and rolls. The Dosa Tava is suitable for domestic gas and radiant electric cooktops.

We have been using the tava for about 3 months now and today we noticed some kind if residue coming off it. It seems the coating is coming off and is unsuitable for use now. Not expected from a brand like this and so soon...

It's mentioned 2 years guarantee, but from 3rd month only it will start showing it's fake quality. Even after taking all d precautions of use (like *wash it when it's completely cold with d given scrubber only, * don't heat it more thn mentioned minutes on high flame * do not use cold water when surface is hot etc etc)
Clearly coating flakes are coming out and sticking to dosa if be in use which can leads to serious health issues.
So overall i can not use it.
Now the question is who will replace it ? Amazon or Hawkins as return date is already passed from Amazon side and Hawkins never picked my call.
It's very pathetic evn after spending huge amount can't get good product with responsibility of guarantee/warrantee.

Made uttapam and Dosa came out crispy also everybody liked it.
And Yes, care needs to be taken in respect of cleaning to maintain the quality of product for long term.
