This is an excellent addition to my kitchen . We are moving away from non stick cookwares and needed a pan in addition to our cast iron pans to cook food with tomatoes etc. This is a very thick pan, excellent quality and the wooden handles make it very easy to hold while cooking. Love it

The packaging itself tells you that it is a premium product. Once you take out the pan, its weight impresses you; even the glass lid is heavy. However, it doesn't look as beautiful in real life as in profile photos; the wooden handle is slightly darker and the steel doesn't shine as much. However, looks is secondary for such a durable product.
The only disappointment is that manual discourages washing pan in a dishwasher.

It is a go to product, when there are too expensive triply steel cookware range..Hawkins has come as a rescue for us with their affordable range..the product is excellent no burning issues, nor sticking issues. I was skeptical about buying this worrying about quality. It’s really good sturdy, perfect for Indian cooking. Cleaning is also easy. I have used this product for long hours cooking still it didn’t change colour nor any burnt marks it left. If any tiny marks on the vessel I rubbed it with lemon n salt and it’s gone. High flame cooking should be avoided.

This triply stainless steel kadai is an excellent addition in my kitchen. Earlier I used to use usual Wrought Aluminium Kadai, later on I come to know about Aluminium Side effets on the health..was eager to choose a stainless steel one..Initially shortlisted international brands like Meyer & Bergner..but before that I just want to give this kadai a shot. So I just brought it ..& started using it extensively. This kadai proved its worth in every aspect be it evenly heat distribution, efficient cooking of the ingredients, ease of handling the food while cooking. Its flat plane bottom gives even spread of oil in the base, its geometrical profile gives space for handling the cooking material you can easily manoeuvre your ladle inside it..cleaning by hand is super easy though not advisable in dishwasher..colours fade (of metallic part) when it goes under the dishwasher but later when u ll clean it by hand these marks & spots go away eventually. This is a multipurpose utility in my kitchen as I also use it as dough making utensil (Hand kneading) as holding this utensil come easy with its long dual handle & then u can left the dough as it is using its glass cover. While preparing food (specially while frying the veggies) this glass cover retains the condensate droplets of vapour & while lifting the cover these water droplet goes into oil / frying item which is little unwanted. So every time we have to careful while lifting the cover especially when frying vegetables or fish (in more oil).
Otherwise this kadai has worth its price. Amazon delivery was ok but while shopping for additional one from local utensil shop I got 20% discount on all Hawkins items which is never available on Amazon. So although pricing is Ok but discount offered…I am not appreciating Amazon in that sense.

Just superb. Works as required. Looks great. No cleaning mess.

Just check if you don't need a glass lid then same pan without lid is cheaper.

Your maid is gonna love you and so will your wife. If maid is happy then wife is happy.

Get for spreading happiness at home. BTW, I am not paid for writing this.
