##TLDR#$The stand cannot support heavy headphones or offer enough clearance for headphones and cable without causing undue stress on headphones. Buy a stand worthy of your headphones.##
The construction is cheap. The unit is 3 pieces assembled. The top piece that contacts the headphones is plastic that easily bends. Unfortunately the plastic piece that is meant to cradle the headphone band is 3" in width (while my headphone pad is 7"). Because of the lack of width the stand makes an indent on the headphone pad. The indent will lead to discomfort.
The stand is too short for my headphones plugged in. Pressure on the cord and port while charging is only going to ham my headphones.
Returning and buying something else.
