"I read it all in practically one sitting, and it had my attention from beginning to end. I like Mr. Rice's writing style - it is straightforward and has good descriptions, but has enough conversations and engaging dialogue to carry the plot forward instead of just narrating it all to us (hate that). Great characters, solid writing, a great mix of reality and magic/fantasy... gods and demon, men and monsters... oh and dragons."-BellaReadz
"Two Heads Two Spikes is an epic, action fantasy, but doesn't feel as long winded, convoluted or crazy dense as some others I've read. In a way that's what made me like it more... it was really easy to read and get lost in.So even if you're not necessarily a hardcore fantasy fan, you will still enjoy this."-J.Masters
"Read this over the weekend, and I must say I am very impressed with this author! Jason Rice is new to me, but he's definitely one to watch out for in the future. It's not easy to create such an intricate, multi layered and angled plot that not only makes sense, but builds momentum as it goes along, and creates a story arc where everything comes together seamlessly. Great imagination and detailing."-Kaylee-Goodreads Reviewer
"The writing style was very good, and although at first I had a bit of a tough time with all of the different characters giving their various points of view, once the bigger picture started to emerge and the story lines merged, it became clear that this is an extraordinary book that will amaze and surprise."-Laura-Goodreads Reviewer

I generally find those types of book difficult to stay with. The sheer number of characters and locations make it almost impossible to keep everyone and everything straight.
Full disclaimer: I won a paperback copy of this book in a giveaway but enjoyed it so much I bought a copy so I could leave a verified review.
I started the book without much hope of finishing it. It only took a few chapters to prove that line of thinking wrong.
Much like GoT the story takes place in an Arthurian time period where the lands are ruled by different kings. As I imagined that time period there is plenty of scheming and plotting, cheating and killing, all the things you love to read about. It's that age old story of those that have and those that don't, where those that have want more and those that don't suffer for aspirations of the former.
Fans of this genre will find a familiar territory with evil vs good with all the supporting cast for each side and except here the sides are not as clear as in other books of the genre. As in life none are all good or all evil and allegiance can change when the price is right.
The world is richly painted and the characters are written in a way that we learn about them throughout the story instead of a dump of information or as in some case just a vague description that leaves you confused and wanting more.
I was hooked after the first couple pages and this is a story with no lags and a lot of on the edge of my seat moments.
Cool read and I definitely recommend it.
Hate having to go to a separate Web site for maps.
Characters and story lines feel only loosely connected. I get the impression there are a number of good books all mashed together. Fewer characters and stronger leads with more fully developed personal would have held my interest more fully
Overall interesting characters and drama - as with these types of books I tend to find myself favoring certain characters as their story develops and then the next chapter finds them dying a senseless death - but such go these types of tales.

Not for younger readers, gruesome violence and sexual scenes throughout.
I didn't really know what to expect when I started reading this. It has bloody murder, incest, cannibalism, dragons, demons and a whole ton of sub-plots.
It starts off with what seems like too much of in detail description that made for heavy reading and a lot of complicated similar sounding names of the characters that you had to really think about whilst you were reading, to work out who was who.
I like the idea of the plot, Game of Thrones esque with it's violence and various sexual scenes and dragons but there is even more to the plot than it with demons possessing people and a warrior princess usurping the throne before her parents died naturally.
I'm hoping in the next book Jason will have toned down the over-the-top descriptions as it really made it hard to carry on reading the book.
Once I managed to wade through the beginning the rest of the book was easier to follow and has great potential.
