Why do I love these headphones? They are the most comfortable pair I've owned. I've had some chunky ones before that were too heavy after a couple of hours. I've also had pricey brand headphones who didn't last as long or the sound quality just started getting worse, and worse over time, looking at you Logitech. These kept their clear sound, and deep bass. I love the convenience of the in-line sound control for quick toggles. These headphones don't squeeze my head like some headphones do. My ears fit comfortably inside the cups and they don't cause my glasses to dig into my skin. The amount of time I fell asleep with these on is too many to count.
Why did they die? Only in the past couple of months did I notice that the braided cord connected to the cup side had slid down, exposing the rubber tube protecting the cables underneath. I was unable to push the braid back into position so there was now a bit of a bend at the connection. Eventually that rubber bend began to erode at the connection. From time to time after that the sound would stutter in places because of that bend and because the cables inside were beginning to disconnect. Today they finally disconnected while I was watching my variety shows. The sound would sometimes sound like it was far away then come back then stutter. The stuttering got worse and worse every time I was trying to adjust the chord so it wouldn't be bent. >.< So I decided to just set the headset aside.
Why 5 stars? Well honestly it's only a chord issue. The headset itself is really solid. They fell sometimes from knee height where they hang from and never cracked. I have wooden floors. The sound is solid and the comfort is great. It's also lasted 3 years. In this day and age when things die in 6-12 months for electronics, 3 years is unheard of. I know that a decade ago 3 years would be too short and considered not good, but this is no longer a decade ago, it's about today. Manufacturing for today is wishy-washy. So for a piece of headset to last me this long is 5 stars in my book. Sure the rubber on the cups have long deteriorated but I only care about sound and functionality.
***If SADES reads this you might want to extend the connection protector a bit more or use a different braid type that won't slide down.***
After looking at other headsets today I decided I will get this exact pair again soon. I only use this for the PC and the USB sound plug is great for that, simply because my PC's 3.5mm sound slots have noisy connections. So USB sound is a MUST. Maybe I'll get it in blue this time.

I will take them at their word that they have a noise cancelling feature, but I suspect it's passive and only on the microphone, because they do not cancel ambient noise like my Bose ones do. But hey, what do you want for the price?
I wear glasses, and as a previous reviewer mentioned, the pads do press on the temple pieces, and after an hour or so of wearing them, you'll notice it. It's really not a huge problem for me, and the benefits of these phones far outweigh this issue.
So the summary is that for $20 you could do a lot worse, and you will most likely be completely satisfied with these. I only wish there was an option for blue LEDs :-)
Update, after using these for 6 months plus. I use these daily for Teams meetings while WFH. They are comfortable enough for long meetings and I love the little volume/mute button. If you're WFH, these should be on your list of candidates. Do they noise cancel or block out external noise? Acceptably well, but they are not active noise cancellation (like Bose, for example). Now available with blue LEDs, if that's your preference. Would very much buy these again, feel like I have gotten more than my money's worth out of them.

Other than that the sound is awesome and cancels out the awful dryer that my next door neighbour has so I don't have to put up with it.
