The bad news: the book is a disservice to the method. The authors have no clue of how this method really works. This would be perfectly fine – there are many effective medications for which the active principle is not fully understood, and they are still sold and used every day. What is not fine is that the authors go on a wild goose chase trying to establish connections between their method and quantum mechanics, cellular biology, and the Bible, among others. We come out on the other side, still not having a clue regarding the underlying principle, but having been shown a rich set of smoke and mirrors.
A more honest approach would be to say: Look, we don’t know how this works and we are looking into it. We have plenty of experimental evidence that shows positive results, and here are the statistics, which have been certified at these respectable universities and hospitals.
Finally, why not mention the super obvious relationships between this method and oriental healing practices, specifically Reiki and Kriya yoga? There is a part of me that thinks that this last omission is simply a marketing tactic. If one tries to sell a product in the US by referring to yoga, reiki, etc. the addressable market shrinks to 15% of the population. But if you start citing scripture and Einstein, then you retain a much larger market, right? I hope that’s not how it was thought out.
1. Buy the book.
2. Read chapter 10 and learn in by heart.
3. Throw the book in the garbage bin.
4. Practice what you learned every day of your life, three times a day.
I started this program about 2 years ago. I would have gotten better a lot faster had I worked the program consistently. One of the most important things I learned during this process is that the people who pan this technique never tried it, or if they did, they didn't stick with it. You won't get better over night. Each of us is different, and so it will take a different amount of time and often different codes to help each of us get well.
Nowhere in this book does it say this is a cure for anything. It is not. Dr. Loyd gives plenty of disclaimers. The purpose of the Codes is to heal the underlying stress that each of us has. The studies he cites throughout the book are scientific, particularly the ones done by the Army, and it is true that memories are stored in the cells of our bodies, not in the brain. That's why it is so difficult to get well.
What this system actually does is to help heal the emotions behind the memories and when those emotions are healed, the memories that cause us so many problems can't cause us problems anymore. It takes that stress off the body so that the body can heal itself. The body is largely self healing, and when our bodies aren't under stress, it is able to heal itself much more quickly.
This is not an easy program to do. It is not a magic pill because it requires consistency and the right attitude on the part of the person who is doing the codes to help you get well. For those who say that Dr. Loyd is in it for the money have never visited his websites because he gives away tons of free content that includes free codes and other tips to help those who are using the codes get better faster. Even the monthly healing code session is only $50, which is a steal, and you get a copy of the recording so you can use it over and over.
For those who are interested in genuinely getting well, this is an excellent place to start. The claims, as well as the scientific studies mentioned in the book, are all easily proven. I don't always understand how it works. I just know that it does. I feel better than I ever have in my life. My triggers are melting away, and I feel happy most of the time. I feel positive about my life, and I am now watching the pieces fall into place. This program has actually helped me heal my issues, and both my mental and physical health have improved to levels I never thought were possible. I feel healthier and younger now, and I have a better health profile now than I did in my 20s. I am 52 years old. One of the "side effects" here is that all my gray hair is gone.
I highly recommend this system, particularly if you have tried everything else. 300 people will die today in the US because of prescription drug interactions. That doesn't include all the people who die in hospitals. Modern medicine doesn't cure anything, and it has taken far more of our money than Dr. Loyd ever did. If you want to stay sick and keep giving away your money, stick with conventional medicine. If you want to get well, try this. It works. I speak from first hand experience. Although I do go in and have regular check ups, I am rarely ever sick, I take no medications now, and I feel better than I ever have.
I've been highly criticized by other veterans and other people for using this system. I don't care. It works, and it works very well, and as I continue to get well, all my critics have stayed sick. The proof here is ultimately in the results, and this will give you results like you have never experienced. You just have to do it.

I totally recommend buying the book to absolutely everyone I know. Some of my friends have asked me if I am getting commission when a copy of the book is sold, but the answer is NO. I am just too passionate about this book. I am not so passionate about doing the healing codes (they are a bit boring to do) as I am about the message of the book: all illnesses are caused by emotional stressed that is stuck in our cells, from even remote times, by issues that we might not even remember.
As soon as I finished the book, I quickly produced a spreadsheet with all the emotional issues that I have had in my life (it was quite long). I recorded the ones that I remember, as it must surely mean they are relevant to me. The next step is to rate these issues, and from that, to work on them with the healing codes. It'd be great if you can practise these codes three times per day. They take about 6 minutes to practise. I admit that you have to be very dedicated to the exercise, but it does work. I just feel so relaxed when I practise them, and I do firmly believe that this kind of meditation can cure any illness you might have.
The purpose of the Healing Code is to accept and overcome all these issues. Not just to learn how to live with these issues, but to understand why those events happened at the time; forgive the people involved in making you feel that bad (as they didn't know any better), and finally move on with your feelings. Forgive and not necessarily forget, but to not to care anymore about it. Give it a go and you won't regret. It is a very easy and catchy read.
Most of our ill health stems from one simple word: stress. And stress is the number one cause of heart attacks, strokes, ME, and many other illnesses. It might not be possible to eliminate stress completely from our lives but it is possible to live our lives - having done the exercises in the Healing Code book - in a different way giving us a better chance of success. But many of our illnesses are not only caused by stress, they're caused by a compromised immune system which not many of us realise.
The authors of this book, Dr Alex Loyd and Ben Johnson, have spent years researching the effects of the Healing Codes and they are of the opinion (validated by extensive research and study) that memories are not stored in the brain but in our cells and that any traumatic or unhappy experience is the blocking point to our physical well-being. This build up of unhappy memories in the cells in our bodies causes an overload in our immune systems, causing it to shut down almost entirely in some cases and it is that which is at the root of most of illness and disease.
So - if we go back to the earliest unhappy memory we have and practise the Healing Code exercises for a minimum of 6 minutes each time, up to 4 times a day, there is astonishing data which proves undeniably that we can heal these memories. If the memories are healed, then bit by bit the immune system begins to work again and other areas of our lives are rebalanced and our health improved. It's a win-win situation.
I read this book and put into practise the Healing Code but due to time constraints I was only able to do them once in total for about the recommended 6 minutes. The next time I was in a situation which would normally have left me in an argumentative or upset mode, I found that I was able to deal with the situation without even reacting - or even thinking of reacting. Imagine how that would have been intensified had I completed the exercises for the recommended 4 times a day.
As someone who has several health issues I am now working with the exercises to heal other memories and I know that it will only be a matter of time before I am the woman I am meant to be!
Read this book! You owe it to yourself to give it a go.
I take issue with a few things, hence 4 rather than 5 stars.
The biggest one is that the heart is our guidance system as well as our protector, and they missed out on the guidance system aspect. (But to include it would have caused major confusion, so perhaps would have been counter-productive, had they considered it at all..)
But it is true that, if we are doing something that really is wrong or unsafe for us, our heart will 'tell' us - in the same way they describe in the book, and with the same results. It is not always fighting old battles for us - it is also trying to show us the way we need to go (or not to go) for maximum life enhancement, and it knows far better than our heads what we need.
Other than that, they are a bit keen on making money from those people who are not sufficiently personally empowered by the book and want more rescuing or extended dependence on something external, which makes me a little uncomfy. But it is human nature, and the way of the world, even in these circles, and people seem to expect it.
And of course there are the 'extra codes' as well. Personally my thoughts on that are to meditate on your issue/s and your own codes will come into your mind when you need them.
As for the 'God' business - this may be off-putting for those of us who do not have the same views as the authors. I am personally not keen on their denials of some generalised thing called 'mysticism' (which seems to mean 'not Christian' in their context), or the mention of 'lies' when writing about other belief systems in a document on their website. But it is consistent with Bible-belt Christian views in the US - and any deviation from that world view would mean burning books, instead of very large numbers of people being empowered to care for their own physical and emotional health. And that is a good thing.
At its heart this work is another way of raising of the vibration of the planet - and the people - and supporting a journey of understanding and growth, on many levels. And when you look at any revelation or channelling of spiritual or healing-related information, they are each different in their cultural placement and references, in order to get the attention and understanding of the audience at which it was aimed (not that it always works, mind). So you get everything from the Bible to the Qur'an, to 'Conversations with God', to angel work, to Seth, to this - and many, many more. All with the objective of helping us to open our minds to something greater - and to Love - but framed within our personal and cultural capacity to accept and understand.
What they are encouraging is a personal practice that includes visualisation, breathwork and good old fashioned healing, but you are the healer and your hands are doing the channelling of the energy that your breath draws in - sending it into your own energy field with love and intention. Very cool stuff.
