While physicists debate the mechanics, science now agrees with psychics that we each affect the world, and each other, with the vibratory transmission of our emotions! As strange as it may sound (and feel), these vibratory patterns may be stored in and resonate from inanimate matter. "People whose homes hold lasting impressions of the deaths or trauma of the previous owners can be seriously affected, and admitting to it can put them at odds with rationality. Ghosts or no ghosts, my clients find themselves affected by the feelings of their new homes, and frequently adjust their lives to suit these undesired imprints." So explains author Sheldon Norberg, who details the phenomena in his remarkable new book, Healing Houses - My Work as a Psychic House Cleaner.

Have you ever walked into a house that just didn't feel right? A house that made you uncomfortable, sad perhaps, or somehow nervous? Perhaps it was a house that your friend had moved into, but which you preferred to avoid, making dates at some neutral location. Maybe your friend told you they didn't like it either, that odd things seemed to happen there; inexplicable noises, electrical and mechanical failures, uncomfortable feelings or feelings that didn't feel like their own. Maybe your friend didn't talk about it. Maybe you noticed them change, over time, becoming anxious, depressed, or otherwise affected in some way.
Maybe you were the person who bought that house. Did your experience pit you against your rational mind? Did you tell yourself that the things that were happening couldn't really be happening? Were you afraid to tell your friends, or family, for fear of appearing insane? Or did you fear for your own sanity? These are the kind of feelings that my clients often tell me about, when they finally call me to heal their house. Finally, because to call me generally means that they have tried everything, and given up on "rational" explanation.
My clients are high-functioning, serious people, from all walks of life, whose lives have been disrupted by things they would prefer to deny the existence of. Until they start to accept that rationality includes perceiving the interconnection between our emotional energy and matter, their experience is fighting against their belief system. They have unexpectedly come to a crossroads, simply by moving into a house. What's more, this house holds energy that is so difficult to live with that they needed my help.

As I was reading the book, I realized there was a part of my house I never went into, just used for storage & when I started investigating, all kinds of creepy things had happened there. The space is clear now & I LOVE the expansion of my living space!
I would hire Sheldon Norberg in a minute!
I have been doing house clearing as a Shaman, for 20 years, now and this book is excellent in shining light on this misunderstood subject matter.

As a skeptical materialist I went into "Healing Houses" with the notion that Norberg was going to sell me the same kind of "Ghost Hunter" non-events that make up the bulk of paranormal TV. Instead, what I was met with was a fast-paced narrative that spanned many locations and many years of Norberg's life as a paranormal remediator, broken down into his most phenomenal and unexplainable bits of psychic housekeeping. It is one thing to read about Norberg cleaning out the psychic stains of displaced souls from suicides or emotional abuse, it is another thing to read about Norberg having to re-tune "energy pathways" around houses to accommodate for the habits of local fauna like birds, rats, dogs, and cats, as well as humans. The extension of Norberg's talents into the realm of re-organizing the "psychic footprint" of each property goes beyond the realm of Feng shui or any other psychic talent I have read about; it is a skill almost wholly undefined in the Western canon of exorcism and spiritual property healing.Read more ›
The outline he followed to establish his case for what he does and can accomplish through his work couldn't have been organized in a better way. It is like he was in my head having a conversation with me as I was reading his words. He knew where I was going with my thoughts before I did and addressed any objections before I had them.
A truly pleasant and easy read on a subject that can sometimes be scary and intimidating, I must have book for anyone who is interested in energy work or spiritualism.
