"A very touching story that poignantly illustrates that while none of us have discovered 'the truth, ' the spiritual reality is far greater than we have been led to believe." - New Age Journal "This is a book for anyone who wants to heal themselves, heal others or understand the nature of the mind-body connection. Sheri Perl has created a masterpiece which brings hope, inspiration and life changing tools in the Sheri Perl Healing Program outlined in Chapter nine. Yet for all its profound wisdom it is easy to read, written with humility, honesty and vulnerability. We seriously wish that it could be set as required reading for any aspiring healer so that they can really grasp Harry Edwards understanding that "when healing energy is directed to the dis-ease that is underlying the disease, the potential exists to cure anything, even diseases considered medically incurable." - Victor Zammit LLB. PhD. and Wendy Zammit M.A. Co-authors of A Lawyer Presents the Evidence for the Afterlife and The Friday Afterlife Report I could not stop reading this profoundly simple account of personal transformation and healing. An inspiration!" - Barbara Marx Hubbard, Co-founder, Global Family "An extraordinarily personal testament of experiencing the basic alchemy of creation." - Hazel Henderson, Author of, The Politics of the Solar Age "It is rare that one person's true story can be compelling, instructive, and entertaining in equal measures. Healing from the Inside Out is all that. Sheri offers up her personal healing journey in a highly relate-able way that is sure to touch hearts." - Susanne Wilson, Author & Spiritual Teacher "Sheri Perl's story of her amazing healing, after enduring years of illness that few could have survived, is a story of hope for all of us. In unexpected and unusual ways, she was miraculously healed and has devoted the rest of her life to helping others physically, emotionally and spiritually. Hers is one of the most encouraging and helpful stories you will ever read or hear, and gives hope to all of us, that there is an unseen dimension and spiritual help beyond anything most of us could ever imagine. Great story - great book!" - Anne Puryear, author of Stephen Lives! My Son Stephen, his life, suicide and afterlife.

This is a very well written account of a struggle with disease and it spans over decades to include personal loss as well. Unfortunately I can relate to this part and know well that these techniques of quieting the mind and connecting with spirit and self can well be the answer to healing from these types of losses as well. I don't think any of us know why we are dealt such cards in life, but we have to find a way to move on and not lose total perspective on what is real and what is good. Sheri is a shining example of this and she is an inspiration to to others !.
This is recommended reading for all, for those of us that struggle with life's ups and downs and want to know how others persevere and cope.
The secret language of the body, and the mysteries that lie behind diseases and pain surprise us day by day. The silent labor of healers deserves to be acknowledged and recognized. Sheri Perl’s brave voyage through sickness was intense, almost unbearable, but her journey towards recovery leaves an important example for all of us. She searched courageously among her deepest beliefs, to find the real causes that created her sickness, and later she started to share what she learned and teach a path of spiritual healing.
After many years of pain she found the balance between spiritual healing and Western medicine. Nothing is out of place, and she teaches us that we can take the best of both worlds, if we are trying to overcome an illness.
I strongly recommend to read carefully the last part of the book, the Sheri Perl Spiritual Healing Program. In this program, she puts together different techniques that she has learned throughout her years of personal healing and spiritual search. I consider them very powerful, specifically step three, “Working with beliefs, Discovering and Reprogramming.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is ill, likely to become ill, or knows someone who is ill. Oh, that means everyone! It is very well written, easy to read and not excessively verbose.
An introspective look at what striving toward spiritual enlightenment can be like first hand how to accept ourselves for the perfectly imperfect beings we are.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who may be dealing with physical or emotional trauma that they may have given up hope on. Proof that great things are possible and our reality may be more than what we were taught in school.
