Never had a tofu press, after long hard looks and reviews I boiled it down to this tofu press and I made the best choice! You can't go wrong with this press. It's tough, sturdy, so easy to clean. I use a salad plate that had curled up edges so is perfect to hold the press and catch all the liquid. I actually stand it up. I hold the top plate up while I slide the tofu in so it doesn't break. Then I just stand it upright on the plate and let it drip. It works great in a 8x8 brownie pan too. I use the glass brownie pan or a bowl to marinate the tofu if wanted. It cleans so easy. I rinse it right after I'm done using it and it rinses cleans. So fast and easy. I sit it out to dry and then it fits in a big kitchen drawer. Sometimes I make extra tofu to batch cook so I wanted another tofu press. I tried a different kind thinking it was a little nice and fancy with the dial down press and container but it was cheaply built and I couldn't get it to work. So, I thought stick with what works! This press works! So easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store. Not flimsy at all. Now I have 2! Best tofu press :)

I absolutely love this tofu press! Before using it, I was constantly wasting paper towels to absorb the liquid, and my tofu often ended up crumbling. I decided to try this press after seeing a great hack on YouTube: place the tofu press over a pasta bowl or plate. This way, all the liquid drains out neatly while keeping the tofu separate from the liquid without making a mess.I tightened the bolts every few minutes, and the tofu came out perfectly pressed. Just be sure to tighten the bolts gradually to avoid cracking the tofu. This press is a fantastic way to prepare tofu without the mess or waste of cloth or paper towels. I highly recommend it if tofu is a staple in your diet!Also super cute… the business included two cute tea towels as a thank you! Such a special touch!!!The size is perfect—easy to store and clean. Although it was a bit challenging to fit a large block of tofu into the press initially, once it was in, using it was a breeze.
