A smoothie, chocked full of healthy nutrients, is a quick and easy way to supplement your diet. The “Healthy Smoothies Recipe Book” is packed with recipes that make creating delicious smoothies even easier. Whether you like protein smoothies made from vegetables like spinach, nuts and seeds or smoothies of fresh or frozen fruits, this book has recipes to fit your taste. The book begins with the basic kitchen equipment you will need, then follows with step-by-step instructions on putting it to use making the recipes included. The book also lists container and ways to store make ahead smoothie recipes.

These recipes add a lot of tags like "energy" and "detox" but for the most part they just interchange ingredients and add either chia seeds or spirulina. The recipes are fine, but without a real understanding of the "why" of the ingredients, it doesn't give much info so you have to talk the authors word for why it's a "detox" smoothie and not some other type.

The AI photos are a yellow flag at least, because you don't know what you're getting. I get it, smoothies aren't terribly photogenic, but I don't like recipe books that use AI generated images (or generative AI at all).

Tried a few recipes from this smoothie book, and it made me add a bunch of fruit to my shopping list. With clear recipes for everything from energy-boosting to weight-friendly, I chose smoothies to help me maintain my weight. It’s been a refreshing way to support health with natural ingredients. An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Apparently, a blueberry detox smoothie does also.

Really found this book of smoothy recipes quick and easy to make. Lots of additional information in the book. There is a huge selection that will take time working through, but the ones tested and tried so far have been refreshing and healthy options.
