About the Author
The Awkward Yeti was created by cartoonist Nick Seluk in late 2012, followed by the Heart and Brain spinoff in 2014.
Nick pursued his lifelong dream of being a professional cartoonist after serving nine years in the corporate world as a graphic designer. In his childhood, he drew inspiration from classics like Calvin and Hobbes, The Far Side, Garfield, and The Simpsons.
Nick lives with his wife, three young kids, and a lovable, ornery old dog in the suburbs of Detroit.
Heart and Brain, and a growing cast of organs can be found at theAwkwardYeti.com and on most social media sites.

Whenever I need a pick me up, I go and read some Heart and Brain comics. For me, they're always a win. This new collection isn't my favorite of the three out but it was still funny. Heart and Brain never fail to make me laugh. Also, so many of these comics are super relatable!
I never get tired of the Heart's shenanigans, the Brain's desperate attempts at order, or the hilarious relatability of Tongue and his cravings. Anyone who's got a human body can probably get a laugh out of at least a few of these, so I'd definitely recommend looking up the webcomic or picking up a copy of this collection.

Nick S. has what it takes, folks. He knows how to climb inside my mouth and into my stomach and then cut through the lining with a knife and then reach through and tickle my funny bone. And I am laughing myself silly as the acids start to slowly leak into my body but luckily I have been acid deficient so he actually has saved my life ... with a book, people. Nick saved my life with a gosh darn book. I don't care what kind of sorcery he uses, I am alive because of him. Thank you, Nick.
