Such a sweet story. I loved the characters. Each was well developed, relatable and easy to love.
The suffering that PTSD brings to those afflicted was treated with sensitivity and realism, including how it affects those who love the one suffering. Many thanks for that.
Plenty of descriptive sex, which I am not a fan of, but not so much that I couldn't skim over those parts, without losing the story.
I will absolutely read more of this author's work.

OMG. What a roller coaster of a book. From start to finish there were twists and turns, and “Dammit, Dixie” came out of my mouth more than a few times.

Luke and Sally were great with and for each other. Sally and her daughter Jen, had been Luke’s only hope in the darkest of times, and when they finally get together, I just couldn’t help but be so happy for them.

It was also great meeting some of Luke’s team members. I’m hoping they get their own stories.

I honestly think this is the best book that Dixie Lee Brown has written to date.

This book. *sigh* So good. It pulls you in and makes you forget you’re reading. I got lost in these characters and their story. Luke is such a wonderful hero. Sexy, flawed but in a way that just tugs at your heart, and an overall nice guy. Sally was someone I liked and really felt for. And Luke's relationship with Jen? Swoon worthy. Gosh, I just fell in love with this book. My favorite of Dixie’s so far.

Edge of your seat Action. Luke and Sally make quite the team. Jen , Sally's daughter is a great kid. There are a few characters that need to be erased they are evil. Luke's fellow SEALS are an interesting bunch. Looking forward to more in this series.
