In this fine book advocating STEM education, Dr Jayshree Seth passionately argues why a career STEM is no less creative and rewarding to the heart as one in arts and humanities. Filled with ideas and useful frameworks (many of which are captured in appealing acronyms), the book is an easy read whose wisdom will benefit students, parents and professionals. I don't remember reading any other book with as many catchy captions as this one. As a bonus, 2 delightful poems and a rap lyric greet the readers as they thumb through between chapters. I learnt that the proceeds from the book sale goes towards a noble cause. So yes... the book was a good read and I hope more people get a hold of it.

The book had me questioning much of what society teaches us about science and professionals in science. It questions what society tells us we should believe about science, teaching us how to be confident in our profession, and encouraging parents, teachers, family, mentors and other adults to motivate and inspire children to get involved in STEM fields and spark the love for science. I loved reading the book, and was lucky to meet the author and hear her amazing experiences and encouraging work. Read!!!

Jayshree is an excellent public speaker (her keynote speech at the 2019 Society of Women Engineer's Global Conference in Anaheim, WE19 was phenomenal) and her first book was equally amazing. I was continually inspired by Jayshree's story, and she pushed me to be a better engineer and advocate. I would highly recommend this book to any girl interested in STEM, college student, or woman in industry. A fantastic read that re-inspired my passion for engineering!

This collection of essays on ways to create more science-minded communities is a timely and instructive book.
Jayshree Seth has a clever way with words and brilliant perspective on leadership, myth busting and clear actions we can take to connect everyone to the value of science.

Her warmth and commitment shines through her writing as she reveals insightful ways to bring more women and underrepresented minorities into SHTEM (H for Humanities).

This was a gift for my high school daughter that aspires to be an engineer at 3M someday. This is written from a wonderfully accomplished engineer at 3M. Great book

Great real for all ages. Can’t wait to read the second book. The heart of science engineering fine print. Love how the proceeds go to scholarship for underrepresented minority women in STEM.

This book is a mixture of perspectives, and Jayshree's storytelling as she shares her thoughts, perspectives and vision with us allows us to identify with the individual level of the subjects and inspires us to move to building capacity for the future together. A must read for anyone wanting to create impact on constantly enhancing science and creating systemic change for more inclusive and effective answers to world problems.
