In “The Superhero and the NSA Agent," there is action, excitement, and “super-spicy” times. Damien and Shane are attractive, honorable, sexy, and lovable. Their interactions in so short a time are such that I could easily envision a long-lasting HEA.
In "San Francisco," Bernard and Eliot pair up wonderfully. Their intense passion and the affection building between them are a good foundation on which to build a future. I enjoyed the geeky vibes and the differences in their geek-doms. There is luck, sexy times, smushed donuts, and alcohol. Throw in a hot, outspoken drag queen, and you have the makings for a fun, exciting, and passionate read.
I especially enjoyed “The Top Shelf” since I am an inch shorter than Alec and can commiserate with him on not being able to reach the freaking beer.
Alec and Max may appear to be an odd couple when viewed from the outside, but watching and listening to them prove that appearances can be deceiving. They immediately click with each other. Their banter back and forth is hilarious, and there is never a dull moment with these two. The sexy times are scorching, and the hint of their HEA warmed my heart.
My favorite, and a new read to me, was the first story of Shane and Damian. Throw in my love of action and law enforcement, add some light-hearted banter, work partners, and superheroes, and I was totally hooked. This tale has it all, including a satisfying conclusion that that makes me believe the MCs will have their HEA. I will always prefer a full-length novel, but Hailey Turner proves that a full story can be delivered in a novella -sized package. The other two stories are also satisfying and left me smiling.
The Superhero and the NSA Agent-
Damian and Shane are fun. They both need someone in their lives and while Shane thinks he's okay, he isn't against the hot superhero from the hospital.
This is a funny and cute story that you shouldn't miss.
San Francisco -
Bernard and Eloit have a nice meet-cute before they both ends up being winners of a free date. The guys are cute together and while Hollywood shoots around them they connect on multiple levels.
This is a sweet romance with melty main characters.
This is my favorite of the three. Alex and Max are sassy, snarky, dirty fun. They can joke and be serious at the same time. They compliment each other and bring out the awesomeness in each other. I could easily read a full length story of these two.
