Heartbeat is a lovely series. The regular characters are ordinary people living in a small village where their lives intertwine. Each episode has a different story which is always interesting and you get to know the main characters bit by bit like new friends and none of them are perfect so they are very believable. I know people who are very like each of them.
A police drama set in England during the ‘60s and '70s with no shoot outs and minimal fights, but there is an occasional car chase, and the vehicles themselves are well worth a look. To top it all off the music is all pop hits from the same era. If you were around then you’ll love the memories and if you are too young to remember those “good old days” you will still know many of the songs. Sit back, relax and enjoy Heartbeat can entertain any age.
Word of warning, once you start watching....you will not be able to stop hummming.... "Heartbeat - why do you miss when my baby kisses me"....
