I loved Cat and Booker's story, I liked who they were even when he was a jerk, I loved "Feelings" and "The Dance", so beautifully written and so meaningful, I loved Ferndale and its small town life. I experienced the full spectrum of emotions, I laughed, cried, rejoiced, grieved and melted several times. One-click Heartbreaker and find out what is the real heartbreak in this story. You will love it!!!
Heartbreaker is the story of Booker and Catherine. Catherine 'Cat' is a small town, single mom. She is a feisty and independent woman. Cat puts her son and her business before herself. She puts all her energy and time into growing her new business and raising her son. Cat tries to be both mom and dad. She is struggling to make her business a success. Cat worries about being & doing the best for her child.
Booker is in town to sell his house. He lives in Los Angeles. Booker is cocky and arrogant. He is paid to be a jerk and break women's hearts. Booker has a side that most people don't see. He is a bad boy on the outside with a sensitive heart. Booker has secrets and fears that he tries to keep hidden.
I love a wounded bad boy turned hero. This bad boy has a heart of gold in my book. Booker and Cat are perfect or made for each other. They are both scared / frightened to put themselves out there. Cat and Booker are afraid to get hurt or trust. I loved the chemistry between Cat and Booker. I devoured Heartbreaker, and I recommend to others.

I volunteered for the arc. This is my unbiased opinion.
I purchased the book to support the author.
Booker is quite a character, he can heat up desires, a haunted past has his heart closed off to love and at times he is hard to understand. Catherine Wells is a professional landscaper which he needs to sell his childhood home. Her kindness and fiery persona have him twisted as she breaks down the chains that surround his tormented heart.
UNFORGETTABLE fabulously well-written story. The reality of this story is quite impressive and pulls your heartstrings. I so loved the witty banter between Booker and Cat and she is definitely his perfect match. There is a bit of action in this story and the vivid steamy romance scenes are breathtaking. I was fascinated by the way the author weaved this story together and adored the characters. I will certainly be reading more of this author's books. Relished this story as it was a most gratifying read. If you treasure true love romance this is a fantastic book for your library. Without, reservations I recommend this read.
Booker wasn't the typical type of man and his life shocked the crap out of me but I never saw it coming. Okay... maybe I didn't fall in love with everyone because Austin...I wanted to punch the ever loving crap out of him! But the encounter after the confrontation was so hot!!!
Cat was pretty amazing herself, but guarded. I loved her interaction with her best friend Tristan and loved the support she showed to her. And the strength Cat showed towards the end of the book was mind-blowing and something I would've been a baby about, crying my eyes out.
So many characters to love and just left me feeling high on them all!! Logan never disappoints and I can't wait for the next book from him! Recommended to all who just want to love every moment of a book!!
Then, as the story developed and we got more pieces of Booker’s backstory in particular, it kinda morphed into more.
A quick, easy escape into to read, it’s a romance story with a little twist of “I knew there was something coming, but I would never have guessed that”.
I enjoyed it.
