As a painter, I’m pretty snobby when it comes to brushes. I tend to buy both sable and good quality synthetics, which are very expensive.
I bought these for an acrylic paint craft project with my son. Boy was I surprised at how decent the quality is with this set. No stray hairs, no cheap wood and the ferrules are attached well to the brushes. If you’re a student or learning to paint these brushes would do very well.
UPDATE 11/3/2018
After a second day using these on a craft project, I noticed that a couple of the angled brushes expanded after I used them. It’s as if the brushes soaked in the paint and didn’t stay in shape. Could it be the fabric medium I mixed with the acrylic? Idk
I still stand by what I said about students and first time painters, these are ok for beginners. You should not spend a lot on brushes if you’re learning. However, no good for serious or professional painters ☹️

These brushes are pretty nice and the bristles seem pretty durable. Very affordable, looks nice, and feel nice. My ONLY issue with these is the blue coating on the brushes have started peeling off pretty easily. Which is pretty minor, except I like the nice glossy feel and don't really like the way non-glossed brushes feel on my hands (sensitivity issues). However, I like them enough despite this so I'll just buy another set.

2 years of abuse and still perfect

I bought these almost 2 years ago for my then 5 year old son and I to have some cheap brushes for art that I wouldn't be upset about if I had to throw out because of abuse or neglect. We've been using them heavily for 2 years and they're still perfect. I mean, we've left them soaking in sludgey water for DAYS when clean up got short cut for other things. I'd cycle back to them, give them a quick rinse and be amazed that they were still fine. I recently bought some much more expensive brushes to do some "real" painting, and yet I find myself tossing down an expensive brush and reaching for one of these time and time again. They just paint nicely and feel nice in my hand. I love them. Kudos to the maker for a great and inexpensive product!
