Very quick read. Easy story line. I hadn't read the others in the series, I thought this story line was interesting so I bought it. Got lost tiny bit when the characters mentioned the other characters from I'm assuming the rest of the series. But overall nice story, happy easy ending. Don't know if I'll read any of the other books in this series but I enjoyed this one.

A bartender by night, a student by day Tanya talks to her "friend" at work. A statue that she reveals all to while beginning or ending her shift at Vamp, the underground club she's worked through two owners.
I found it a poignantly sweet story of love that couldn't happen but did. The writing keeps the reader involved and vested in the story until the last page, left pleased yet wanting more.
