It looks very nice, and is pretty easy to get together and fill. There is a bar in the middle that makes pouring slow, but its not bad at all. I suggest using a platter plate below to fill it, as seed sprinkles more than my (old) plastic 6 port feeders. However, many more finches can feed from it at the same time.
Another huge plus, the woodpeckers adore eating from this feeder.
pieces to break in our Phoenix heat, it is in a tree so I don't worry about it getting too hot for the birds.

I've had mine for over a year. Small amount of rust on the hardware but still very functional, and finches love it. I just wish my dog would quit eating the finches.Published 15 months ago by Roberto
Good quality construction. But I bought it for goldfinches and after a week or so, other birds learned how to feed from it.Published 17 months ago by Steve
A nice nyjer feeder. Must fill within nyjer seed container to avoid losing seed. The birds do seem to love this feeder and flock to it.Published 21 months ago by Karen Rogalla
I like this product but the goldfinch do not like it as well as the perch feeder that it replaced. I only use about a third as much thistle do to less activity on this feeder.Published 22 months ago by C Smith
looks nice and holds a fair amount of thistle seed. No yellow finches yet which is what we were hoping for, but lots of other birds like it, especially nuthatches and chickadeesPublished 24 months ago by betty
I've had this us all summer and the birds don't like it. Very rarely do I see a finch on this feeder. They are eating seeds from my other feeders though. Read morePublished on July 18, 2014 by Suzy J
