Combining two halogen flood lights with a programmable motion sensor--all in one durable design, this Heath/Zenith SL-5318-WH-D outdoor light works well over a garage door, on the side of a home, or other area in need of enhanced security. The light's sensor detects motion up to 70 feet (sensitivity can be adjusted), while its pulse-count technology helps prevent false triggering from wind and rain, so only substantial motion is detected, like people and animals. Set the timer to indicate how long the lights should stay on after motion stops, or manually turn the lights on or off at any time with the flip of an indoor switch. In addition to providing maximum flood-light illumination with the motion sensor, the security light can also be used for low-level accent lighting thanks to its DualBrite technology. An integrated timer makes it easy to program the light to go on for three or six hours--or from dusk until dawn. Other highlights include a convenient daytime test mode, a photocell sensor that automatically deactivates the unit during daylight hours, and heavy-duty die-cast metal construction for long-lasting performance from one season to the next. The motion-activated security light uses two 120-watt halogen bulbs and measures approximately 8-2/5 inches long by 9-4/5 inches wide by 5-3/5 inches tall and carries a 2 -year limited warranty.
Enjoy sounds, styles, and finishes that elegantly reflect the distinct personality of your home with indoor and outdoor products from Heath/Zenith. The company provides fashion-forward lighting solutions that strive to complement any decor, both cozy and contemporary alike, plus their products are easy to install, making it a snap to quickly add enhanced safety, convenience, and security. Choose from a broad selection of door chimes, motion-sensor security lights, decorative outdoor light fixtures, wireless lighting controls, and more.

I have it mounted about 12 ft high on my garage, and it does not seem to see me until I'm about 10 feet in front of it. Since my driveway is about 250 feet long, that leaves me with a LOT of darkness before the stupid thing comes on. By the time I'm that close, I think I could make it the last 10 ft without it. Mostly, I just wanted help with snow-blowing in the dark, but it's pretty useless for that. Oh, well, it does light up well when it's on, but the sensor is lacking.
OK, just getting around to the update. I have shut the thing off for a few months now, because it worked OK at first, but then it kept coming on at night, presumably over every leaf blowing by in the fall. I say presumably, because eventually, it was on more than off, and keeping us up at night. Then one night it simply started to strobe, and that was it. It's off now, and has been off for months. Nothing is worth the disco inferno that's going on out there every night, and I'm too lazy to take it back down and replace it.
The bulb shields are not the best where they attach to the fixture.
Update: One of the 3 units have failed. The light just keeps on flashing on and off. Apparently I'm not the only one having this problem.
Need to get a warranty replacement.
Also the light covers are flimsy and don't stay on very well, the slightest bump and they fall right off and just rest on the hot light instead.
The reason it got 2 stars instead of one is with its super wide angle I actually put it in my garage with 2 screw in florescent lights and took the covers off, now the lights come on automatically in the garage when you open either the main door or the house door.
