I work as a freelance web designer in Louisiana. This allows me the space I crave for writing. I also work on the media team at my church, and frequently answer “phone-a-friend” questions about techie things that drive people crazy.
It wasn’t until I was in my twenties that I discovered my love for writing. That pesky question, “What am I going to do with my life?” led me to enlist with the Christian Writer’s Guild (after earning my accounting degree). I took the guild’s courses for three years and learned a ton. Mostly, I learned I was a writer and developed a love and deep respect for the craft.
