Sam and Kia get along great even tho they are hiding some secrets and have different lifestyles. Sam is still trying to deal with his brothers and partners deaths from military battles.
with a hit out on her, Sam decides to protect her with his team. Kia meets a couple of people on her trip who become her family. they guide and teach her since she was sheltered by her abusive husband.
many lives are intertwined and each has their own struggles but support each other as life goes on.
After taking chances on some books lately and ending up underwhelmed, I needed a KA book that wouldn't disappoint - and it didn't.
So far, Heaven and Hell and Mystery Man are my two favorites of hers.
1. The story is pretty good but very long.
2. Much of the dialogue and personality characteristics of the protagonists are identical to the other two Kristen Ashley books I've read.
3. The book is well written, but it needs a good final edit. There are some awkward wordings, wrong words, grammar errors, and punctuation errors. (Unchartered for uncharted, vice for vise, Sam and my suitcases instead of Sam's and my suitcases, I/me errors, etc.)
It's a very sweet romance and not badly priced.

Kia and Sam's story is very sweet. I love the Italian location of Lake Cuomo for the first part of the story. It reminded me of the John Legend's song, All of me.
