Good coverage of Last Days signs, but don't ever predict dates-unless you want to make God laugh!

Though the author admittedly stepped out on a limb and put some dates in (that are already passed) for the fulfillment of prophecy, he has a firm grip on the heavenly signs and symbols that are given for us. I've learned that "lesser light" signs (eclipses) are indications of coming or recently past judgment, and "greater light" signs (stars in conjunction, such as the Revelation 12 sign on September 17, 2017) are announcements and rejoicing that God is moving to accomplish His work. One of the things that my husband and I especially have liked is his Appendix A, a very educational summary of the Jewish/Hebrew seven annual Holy Days, and their connection to Christ's first earthly mission and His second coming in glory. We'll be reading that again; there is much to learn. Clearly the author has done significant research into the meanings and symbols of these Holy Days, as well as their conjunction with Christ's mortal mission and His second coming in glory. A comment that I have: I see a great many parallels to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, and "The great and terrible day of the Lord". Yet, I have seen few last days commenters make that connection. Maybe I'm completely off the track, but the Day of Atonement is to cleanse souls prior to the rejoicing of the Feast of Tabernacles, and the earth has to be cleansed prior to the Second Coming of the Lord. In my opinion, the great and terrible day of the Lord will be on and around the Day of Atonement. (I'm not putting in any dates!!)
If you're interested in the signs of the Second Coming, read this book. The first time I picked it up, I put it right down again because of the author putting in dates, but as I learned more about heavenly signs, I picked it up again and I'm glad I did.

It took me longer to read this book than any book I have read in my life! IT was so packed with enlightening information that I had to think about it a LOT as I read. Some of it I knew about but he opened my eyes even more on those things. I spent almost as much time reading the notes as I did the rest of the book.
I gave up on trying to read the notes while I was reading it and just read them after finishing the book. Even the notes were amazing. He has a massive amount of knowledge which he is able to pull together in an understandable fashion.
One of the more expensive books I have bought, but well worth it. An over all mind expanding read.

I was surprised however, by the number of errors throughout...endnotes/footnotes incorrect, page references incorrect, figure labels incorrect, etc. It seemed like the author was in a hurry to get this book out...or had poor editors. Other than that, the book was wonderful to read and learn from.
