Packaging:
Just holding the All Clean Balm, I can already tell it's leagues above the Clean it Zero. The Clean it Zero has a cheap plastic lid covering the sherbet that is so difficult to remove every time I open up the jar. The All Clean Balm has a very sturdy lid with a tab so you can easily lift it. Plus the little spatula for the All Clean Balm is much nicer!
Ingredients:
The Clean it Zero is mostly mineral oil, which is a very cheap ingredient. Its second ingredient is Ethylhexanoate, and its third is PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate. It has quite a few fruit and plant extracts, dyes, and fragrance.
The All Clean Balm is mostly Ethylhexyl Palmitate (fatty acid from palm oil). Its second ingredient is also Ethylhexanoate, and its third ingredient is also PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate. All Clean Balm uses shea butter, and far more plant and fruit extracts than Clean it Zero. It also has a long list of oils (Orange Peel Oil, Lavender Oil, Grapefruit Peel Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Tea Tree Leaf Oil, etc.), unlike Clean it Zero. No dyes or fragrances in this.
overall for ingredients - they share a few similar ingredients, but Clean it Zero features cheaper and less nourishing ingredients than All Clean Balm.
Performance:
The Clean it Zero gets off all my waterproof mascara and lightweight foundation, and I never have makeup residue afterwards. All Clean Balm is almost just as effective, but sometimes I get foundation residue (I use a sheer cushion foundation) on a cotton pad after double cleansing with this. Clean it Zero leaves my eyes foggy after I wash everything off, but I do not have this problem with All Clean Balm. No breakouts or reactions associated with either of these products.
All Clean Balm feels creamy and oily when massaged into the skin. Clean it Zero feels more waxy and silicone-like.
Both wash off clean, no residue left behind, don't leave my skin feeling stripped.
Price:
The All Clean Balm has more product that the Clean it Zero (120 mL vs. 100 mL), and is often roughly the same price if not lower. If you're comparing the All Clean Balm to Banila Co's Clean it Zero Purity, the All Clean Balm is almost always less expensive. Overall, All Clean Balm is a better deal.
Heimish's All Clean Balm is far superior to Banila Co's Clean it Zero. I'll never buy the Clean it Zero again if the All Clean Balm is an option.

I am no expert at packaging but the Amazon one that I have had for 2 months seems like it's made of cheaper materials and also the shiny rose gold portion is much more easily scraped off than on the older version which I had for around half a year. The lid also doesn't seem to close all the way down so I would say the other version is more secure. Inside both products have a spoon but the older one has a nice little grove to stick it in while the new one does not. Also when I compared the formulation the Amazon version had a mushy consistency and some portions were a little oily and not balm like. Notice that on the lid of the new version the oil is liquified while the old version is still balm like. The original that I purchased wasn't mushy or liquidy at all even in the summer months. The smell of the original also smelled better in my opinion it had something like a fresh botanical scent to it while the Amazon version with the new packaging smelled maybe fruity? or some kind of oily scent but the smell isn't as strong. Both turned milky when I added a little water when washing my face and I think the cleaning power is around the same. Neither of them broke me out but overall I still prefer the older version since it had a nicer smell and nicer consistency in my opinion.
Overall i would give the old version 5 stars and the new one 4 stars. I hope that they bring back the old formulation and packaging if the one I bought was actually real. If anyone could confirm that the one I got from Amazon is legit that would be great.

To be clear, when I say it doesn't remove my eye makeup, we are not talking about Red Light District-type eye makeup here. Everyday makeup - work makeup. Coconut oil melts that away. This one does not. It kind of just smears it around. If you let it sit for a bit, you'll end up with really blurry eyes. But let's face it. Who stands in front of the sink with their eyes closed for 2 minutes? So, either purchase this for the face (like me) and use a different eye makeup remover or have oily/foggy vision for a good 20 or so minutes after cleansing.

UPDATE: This product caused me chemical conjunctivitis in both my eyes causing me to almost completely loose my vision for two weeks. Otherwise described as a chemical burn. I spent two days in the emergency unit at the hospital being treated. I had to use special numbing eye drops and can’t wear eye makeup for a month. This stuff can truly harm you. Be careful what you buy.

Once you have spread the balm all over the area that you want to clean, you need to add a splash of water on top of it (I use my ''Fanerfun Continuous Mister Spray Bottle'' that I bought on Amazon). While you continue massaging the product onto your skin, it will turn a milky color. And as you massage it, the product will start breaking down your makeup, which is what I call the melting effect. After you are satisfied that your makeup has been properly dissolved, all you need to do is to wipe the balm (which is now a mixture of melted makeup) away. My skin is left feeling not only clean & soft, but moisturized.
I have to say that I was surprised at how well this worked with my most tenacious makeup. This is, so far, the only product that manages to easily remove my ''Immovable by Mia Adora'' eyeliner (that I bought on Amazon). It also works incredibly well on my lip stains and long wear lipsticks. GREAT purchase. Would recommend.
