She says "I like to sleep in a t-shirt"
He says. "Not in my bed, you will always be naked in my bed"
Never mind it's her apt, her room, her bed and that she's an adult and should be able to choose to sleep in whatever she wants!
She goes to bed while he's at work, wearing a tshirt, and wakes up with him diddling her in the middle of the night, naked. He thinks nothing of waking her up for sex, but even when he's too tired and doesn't wake her up, she still wakes up naked! This is just gross to me. He treats her like a blow up doll that he owns. I have never liked the fact the he tricked her either, marking her as his mate, his property, without telling her.
I couldn't take anymore of this terrible character, and although I really love Max, Tomas, Tess and the other characters, I even like Harry when she isn't throwing her friends out and jumping Nash because she is SO horny she just can't wait to throw him down and ride him *rolling my eyes*!
This series has so much potential and the author is really imaginative and creates a very interesting world with many intriguing characters and lots of opportunity for some really fun storylines. Unfortunately these books focus way too much on sex and Harry's inability to focus on much else, and with a truly obnoxious guy.
I really think this author could be as good as Ilona Andrews and other popular authors if she could focus more on the story, and make the main characters likeable. In the first 3 books I skimmed past everything with Nash, but I couldn't get through this book. I won't buy any further books unless I hear that Nash has been killed off or found a new mate or something.
If you want a fun series, with a lot of action, some romance and a great group of characters, the Harry Russo series will satisfy. Although this book can be read alone, I strongly suggest that you start at the beginning, as it will give you a better understanding of the relationships and the back stories of the various characters.
