I am a avid reader of Amanda McIntyre's End of the Line Montana series and am so glad that this is just the beginning of Gavin and Caroline's story. Can't wait to see how their story continues. Fun, fast read that leaves you needing more!!
Gavin has received an invitation to Evermore Plantation. He has not been there in many years. He deserves a vacation and decides it is time to visit his friend Patrick.
Caroline has been invited to a gala at Evermore by her friend she hasn't seen in quite awhile. While on the plane, she receives a note from a very good looking gentleman to meet later. The lady sitting besides her tries to get her to give the guy a chance. She just can't. Later, at her friend's place, she goes swimming naked and comes out of the lake with a man standing there. She pushes him in.
While at the gala, there is a weird occurance. Seems everyone is affected. They soon figure out this the evil ghost that had been banished. She has figured out how to come back. It will take some extra help from some very special ladies to banish her forever.
I enjoy very much this short story. So unpredictable and that twist with paranormal activity was fabulous.
Pity it was so short. 😊 looking forwarding to another story about End of the Line series.
Dr. Gavin Beauregard lost his wife during the birth of their twins and he still hasn't let go, he decides to accept an invitation from a friend for a weekend getaway, where he meets someone who just might change all that. Caroline is having a girls weekend with her best friend and gets more then she bargained for.
I have always loved paranormal and this book has just enough to keep you intrigued and wanting lots more.
Can't wait to see what happens next.
