About the Author

Victor Gischler is an American author of crime fiction sometimes with a humorous angle. Gischler's debut novel Gun Monkeys was nominated for the Edgar Award, and his novel Shotgun Opera was an Anthony Award finalist. His work has been translated into Italian, French, Spanish and Japanese. He earned a Ph.D. in English at the University of Southern Mississippi. His fifth novel Go-Go Girls of the Apocalypse was published in 2008 by the Touchstone/Fireside imprint of Simon & Schuster. He has also writes American comic books like The Punisher: Frank Castle, Wolverine and Deadpool for Marvel Comics as well as Buffy the Vampire Slayer for Dark Horse. The author lives in Austin, TX

The story is about all the evils out in the world and the ones who keep that evil in check. Good graphic novel with a fun story and great artwork. There were some frames during fight scenes that I had trouble discerning what was actually going on. At those times it was a bit frustrating but was able to move forward and enjoy the rest of the book.

This book was full of supernatural creatures, corrupt cops, rogue FBI agents, blood, and gore. And I loved every second of it. If you're into crazy page-turning storylines and aren't bothered by pages upon pages of graphic violence, then this graphic novel is definitely for you.

Great art, fun concept. Imagine an Ash a little bit more adult on the vein of Buffy if she dressed like an 80's slasher killer. If your into horror you'll love this book.
