I am sure that i am not the only one that is not appreciative of all the cliffhangers and 40 part series that seem to the trend these days. So happy that this author gave me what i needed. A hell of a good story and a dern HEA to boot.
Can't wait for Spike's story.

Thank you Bella

I finished it. I want to give you honest review, and please don't be upset because this is how I feel. I have read a lot of books, and when I say that, I can honestly say close to a thousand. Now, I don't want to trash talk because one: I am not a writer, and two: as an author they give their heart out to this book. Based on my opinion, and how feel about the book, I would give it a 2 stars out of five.

Reasons: 1. I felt that it was just forced! I really wanted to love Addison. I can see her struggle, but I have a mix feeling with her. She was raped at 13! Repeatedly! and around drugs, she did drugs, and saw prostitution. That kind of abuse breaks you, I am sorry, it breaks you to your soul. For that, I did not feel her that broken. She is stubborn check, angry, check, broken, nope, did not feel it. Maybe just not enough pages to get her emotions across. She was poorly written, because she was written to be this broken down person, but she comes off spoiled and talks too much. After being raped, she is "dripping" for Cade? Really? After only seeing him for couple of days? I just could not connect to her. 2. Cade: He is Hot! no denying that. I feel that he was also force, maybe not enough character development, because I don't know if he is dangerous, or a prick. And maybe because I did not get to hear his thoughts, so its hard to connect with him, and him with Addison. I needed more with him, more details, just more. Did not get that. 3. There's not enough development with the whole MC. I could not get the picture what kind of MC Hell's Knight was about. I want to actually picture the men involved, the lifestyle, with this story, I had to make it up in my own head. I need more, to get attached to these characters.

I could go on and on.

I didn't really like this book. Too many times it had me like...
*pulling my hair out while screaming at the book*

The premise is a dark one. And one that is all too common. Beyond sad. Something that makes your heart ache, and your blood boil with anger, and causes your will to seek revenge on behalf of the heroine. So it starts off in a way that causes you to be more than a little curious as to how this will all play out. Then it shifts in a way that becomes something so superficial & simple that it has you wondering "Where the heck is the story that I started reading?"

Cade- while he is a handsome devil, clearly beyond the Alpha Biker bad boy, he didn't do much for me. I got a little tingle but no explosion.

Jackson- Addison's father. I felt more of a connection to him than I did with Cade. I really wish that Addison's relationship with her dad was fleshed out more. It had a beautiful making of a great story within this story, it just fell short. I say this cos her father played a big role in the next chapter of her life, but he seemed to still be placed as just added filler without the deep connection there being fully realized.

Addison- She is very mature in many respects for a 21 year old. How could she not be? Considering what she's gone through. But it's because of this, that she ticked me off when she would say, do, or react to certain things that up until those points, her character (as we the reader come to know her as ) would never do. So then these "happenings" would lead to very contrived occurrences within the plot/story. Which only lead to pointless angst filled drama. Which yes, if you're paying attention, killed the story for me.

Not to mention the sex, which there was a decent amount of, was just "meh" for me.

Okay, so I liked this book but I didn't love it. I read it in two hours. It's a short read. I love MC books and this had some grit to it but it felt rushed to me. I think it could have been a little deeper. I would have liked a little more background on Jackson and Addison's mom.

This had a lot of potential. I don't notice the spelling errors as others have noticed. I can ignore those quite easily. This was a short read. Definitely an insta-love type book, not like there is anything wrong with that.

My problem all boiled down to Addison. I don't enjoy dumb heroines, and she was one X10. Cade would tell her not to do something, and then she would do it anyway. Then she would put herself, the club, and lastly herself I'm danger. She paid for not listening in the end.

Addison also had one major chip on her shoulder. I realize she has one screwed up childhood, but do you really have to take that out on everyone that you come into contact with. Everything that said to her she twists it until she sees something into the comment that's bad.

I'm not sure how this book got such high ratings....

I'm pretty sure if you look up the definition of "STUPID" in any fictional English dictionary you will have a lovely picture of this Addison character in there!

The heroine (Addison) has got to be the most stupid person I have ever read about. Not only does she disregard her own safety by not listening to simple instructions, she puts the safety of others at risk too. Too dame stubborn to take instructions to stay put or not to go anywhere without an escort, she's just an open book of STUPID!

The heroine is on the run after witnessing the death of her mother and shooting her mothers pimp (that story I found hilarious!) takes coverage at her father's biker community. It is there that she meets the Hero - Cade. Cade is one hot Alpha, possessive and very yummy Man who falls hard and fast for the heroine. When Addisons past comes back to haunt her, it is Cade and her father that runs the rescue, but in order to keep her safe, all she has to do is... LISTEN and DO AS SHES TOLD! Two simple steps to keep her safe. But nooo, what does little miss drama queen do.. she disobeys everything which eventually gets her into trouble.

After she endures her stupidity, I sincerely hope that she's learnt her lesson.
It has a lovely little epilogue afterwards which was a bonus.

The plot was good, the way the characters were developed was great... even though the heroine came off as just plain old stupid to me - the rest of the characters was very well written. If anything, I think the only thing that kept me reading this book was Cade!! MORE CADE PLEASE!!! :)
